Would give 0/5 Stars if I could! Have been waiting 5 weeks now for a delivery from WA.

The package has been tracked as received into their Melb Depot for the last 3 weeks. Their tracking info is useless. And their customer service are equally hopeless.

I have called several times (cannot be given an ETA) as to when it will be delivered. They use Covid as an excuse.

Someone finally called me from their Depot. Told me they’d deliver it on Saturday (just gone) and I then waited around all day & changed my plans. No call, or SMS, delivery never came.

I called back today to follow up with their office (again same excuses).

Waste of your time & Money! Do not use Northline!

Delivery driver did not want to go to the effort of driving down my driveway and unloading. When I pointed out many trucks and delivery vehicles deliver to me regularly he told me he could leave my pallet in the middle of the road or I could pay to have them come back and deliver it another time. Company now refusing to deliver my items unless I pay them more whilst claiming no vehicle can safely drive down my driveway… was just a lazy driver who admitted he had 11 more deliveries to make and would get them in on time.

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a company in my life. It would be comical how incompetent this service is if they did not have thousands of dollars of my stock sitting in their depot that hasn’t been delivered in over a month, despite repeated phone calls and constant assurances that it will be here tomorrow.

Just how bad is this company? First they marked my items as having been delivered in 1900. Amazing they were able to deliver my goods 121 years ago!

When we called to ask what was happening 31 days ago, we were assured it was an error and we would have our goods the next day. Sure enough, they never arrived. We gave them an extra few days as we understand COVID related delays happen before calling again, and once again we’re assured it was on the way, that same day no less!

It never showed up and so began an endless stream of calls with different information each time - once we were told it had been partially delivered (it hasn’t), then were told it was actually being partially delivered (it wasn’t). We were told a delivery attempt was made (it wasn’t), but that the delivery address wasn’t a residential address (it is). We’ve been told contact attempts were made on days we’ve been glued to phones waiting on the delivery driver to call and tell us they’re an hour away and no calls have been missed.

Last Friday, one of the more helpful customer service agents came up with the great idea of booking in our delivery date five days in advance so there would be no possible reason for it not to be delivered. He also suggested we call again the day before the delivery date to make sure it was all received by the depot, so again, no more excuses.

We called yesterday and things seemed to be going well! The depot had received the request, there was no reason the delivery shouldn’t be here today. Great!

I called today to see if it was onboard for delivery, and surprise! It isn’t! Nor, apparently, has the delivery request even been confirmed! And the notes on the delivery had mysteriously vanished!

The hours we’ve wasted on the phone and days we’ve wasted waiting around on this delivery, which is now over a month late, is honestly infuriating. We’ve lost a month of trading time on these goods, it’s completely unacceptable. Even better, they take no responsibility and any issues need to be taken up with Transdirect as the account holder. Writing this review during my 20 minute hold time with Transdirect, hooray.

We will absolutely be pursuing compensation. Avoid Northline at all costs.

The worst service I have ever encountered.
Drivers are rude, swear at you when you ask them not to leave it at the entrance of your premises.
When you talk back at them they threaten you that they will just take it back to the depo where you will be forced to pick it up, or they will recharge you another fee to re-deliver.
Good scam to get charged again.
Never again would I ever use their service.

Very bad service, rang customer service to ask and advise day of delivery of delivery time.confirm AM advise NOT HOME AFTER AFTER 3: 00PM she said no problems AM in morning pick ups in afternoon. Guess what 4: 00pm call telling me they are at my address? Rang head office told me they would ring back. No one did? Rang first think Monday to be told not its not going to be delivered today either? No help either asked for management not available. Customer service do not listen when you say you will not be available for deliver
they get angry. Then when trying to organise re- delivery didn't listen again. No Customer service at all. This is the best part Staff said I wasn't able to follow up with when my delivery was going to be delivered at all. Period.interesting concept.

Today rang to find out when to expect delivery.told no truck available?
feel sorry for the owner of the business I bought the goods off.they are trying to run a business and these guys think its funny to stuff there customers around. Transport company with no truck?

We have been using NORTHLINE for our business transport needs for 10 years. We send 300 or so pallets a year. Fast, reliable and easy to work with.

Not very good at explaining how to pick up your goods. No one at reception, eventually got someone to assist.
Goods still in awesome order, so shows we packed the pallets well. Forklift driver very good at explaining what to do in the end.

Stay away. This is a message to any business thinking of using Northline Transport as their courier. The tracking system this company uses is next to useless and the communications are poor. I ordered a glass vanity table with a mirror from a company called vanity chic. I had the package marked as extremely fragile by the supplier.

Long story short i was told delivery would be today and its not here. I contacted northline via customer service number and they told me the item wasn't leaving the depot but wouldn't tell.me why just told me to contact the place I got the item from after a few back and forwards on the phone I finally get to the bottom of it and it was because Northline had damaged the item during transport.

I understand accidents happen but the fact is they never contacted me to tell me it would not be coming and took no responsibility for anything that had happened. I cancelled the item and asked for a full refund. Do not use this company for shipping read all the reviews on here and see for yourself. They have 3 stars as a collective because even people leaving negative reviews have to give a star to do so.

Item 'recieved' by Northline two weeks ago still sitting at some unknown location. Everyone blames Covid 19. Give me a break.

Update: Northline claimed that my parcel had been delivered to my home address. Absolutely not true. Avoid these people like the plague.

3 pallets shipped to Sydney, loaded and unloaded with a forklift at each end. Received a $200 "hand unload fee" 2 weeks after the fact.

Sure, your driver hand unloaded 3 450kg pallets.

Employees must be getting incentives to make up fraudulent transactions.

Northline used to be rock solid, but this is just dishonest.

Worst freight company ever, driver took some personal time on the job and now we have been fraudulently charged for it. They also failed to deliver within the quoted time period, so we had to go out to their depot to collect.

Originally they tried to charge us for a "hand load fee" because it wasn't on a pallet, however the guy rocked up in a SMALL VAN which makes it impossible to load a pallet anyway. When questioned a few days later they came back and noted that it was because the driver took over the 15 minutes to load the the packages on the truck, DESPITE our staff members helping them.

THey are just looking for any excuse to make fraudulent charges

Stick with TNT Express.

DO NOT USE! Northline Transport is a joke of a freight company. They broke a piece of freight - there was no one to call or contact, they promised to call back and couldn't. Absolutely shocking.

Awful communication. 2 stars due to getting the stuff to Melbourne. The rest was terrible. Resulted in me driving to the depot to collect my gear

Not sure why all the negative reviews. Arranged for a motorcycle to be freighted from WA to Melbourne. Quoted freight time was 7 days - it arrived 6 days from booking. No damage No delay. Tracking service worked a treat and office staff were polite and provided answers to all of my questions. Thanks - great service

One weak man with no skill to deliver, left my 100kg delivery down stairs. I asked him twice if I help him will he take it up to my apartment. He said yes twice. After doing most of his work for him he decided he was too weak to continue and rather than ask what I wanted to do he just left and said 'not my problem'.
There is over 100kg left in front of the building. No where on the receipt does it say coffee shop downstairs is my address.
If he was more professional I would've just told him to take it back and I would've happily organised something even if it meant more money.
But now I've got something no one can lift blocking the doorway. I have several witnesses who saw everything. And body cop is upset but luckily the manager of this building is also my good neighbor, who is happy to contact victorian ombudsman on our behalf.

My item arrived before the expected date and they kept me informed through the process. Also, great app. The only downside was the wait to speak with customer service. Otherwise all good. Thanks guys!

Very bad service, When ever I came here for pick up the pallets, always need to wait more 50 min, after paper work, I call Coustmer care department, I am waiting outside for pick the pallets after that one Gentleman coming outside and Blame on me you rude my staff on Tele phone and try to make me guilty without listening the tele phone conversation, I request to Branch Manager go and listen the conversation and decide him self, where I am rude. If this is way to you representing your company services with your Clint.

I've been dealing with this delivery company for many years on behalf of where I work. I cannot believe how rude some truck drivers are there in this delivering company. Absolutely disgusted on today's experience never have I seen such rudeness towards one of our employees here. Just because some of you truck drivers want to work at your own pace doesn't mean you let the guy on the forklift wait up to 10 minutes shifting stuff around that's not even ours. It's your responsibility to organize the pallets and space on your truck. Not the customers.
