The worst shipping company in Australia by far! 100% damage rate on my parcels. No care what so ever for your goods. And then don't care when you tell them they've damaged it. Parcel was also "out for delivery" for over a week and none knew where it was. Joke of a company avoid at all costs

If there were a negative rating available, that would best describe this company. I'm not sure what kind of individuals they hire for their deliveries. Unfortunately, the drivers seem to have no idea where to park or struggle to understand English. We've missed our deliveries so many times because these drivers don't know where to park or how to navigate a building, etc. To the hiring managers and HR at Northline, it's not just about finding the cheapest labor/contractor for the job; it's also about ensuring the quality of the personnel

Most unprofessional and useless Company ever. Unreliable unaccountable not worth using. Items abandoned and lost at wrong address, failed attempts at deliveries numerous times (currently 6 times is record for no shows for booked and promised deliveries) no communication and management not interested in fixing issues just full of excuses.

15 jobs in a row either didnt turn up or the timeslot bookings cost us over $1000 each delivery.always told will be delivered same or next day and nothing happens.

Recommend NOT TO USE.

Our customer received plywood from us in the absolutely embarrassing state. We never had similar issues in our practice with Northline during past 5 years. Job MS22914703. Looks like this company doesn't understand how to handle freight anymore.

VERY POOR SERVICE. Charged a fortune but DID NOT DELIVER ON TIME. NO SUPPORT PROVIDED. Basically just told, bad luck. SHAMEFUL WAY TO OPERATE.

This is one star too many! Promised delivery 5 days without result. Called and each time was told it would be delivered this afternoon and that someone would contact me if it wasn’t coming. Nothing came and no one contacted me. The last day of non delivery I was promised by managers that it was coming; but even escalation was not enough. Local agent doesn’t like delivering to our area so sits on parcels until there are multiple deliveries to be made. Was actually confirmed by the driver that ours was held back cause there was another one coming for just round the corner. Which means that it can sit in their depot for a couple of weeks before they actually decide to deliver it. It actually came with a big hand written note “Urgent Must Be Delivered on 26th” it was the 1st 6 days later before we got it. Not the first time this has happened with this company and will not be buying from anyone who only uses this company for freight with no other option

Paid $525 for delivery and they left the box out in the rain on my driveway, would not help to bring it in the garage

Picked up a car hoist from them which was delivered from W. A. Was confused as to were to pick up as i wasn’t a courier or truck and the entrance for private pick up was shut. Was easy to deal with reception and for lift operate was consider or my package when loading it on to my trailer

Well this company was great, turned up early to pick up my package, and the the lady was polite and friendly, and helpful, and the worker went to get my package straight away thanks with no hassle at all thanks, that's why I give them a 5 star

I cannot overstate this - do not, under any circumstances, engage with this business.

Aside from not delivering a consignment (which, let's face it, is their only job), their customer "service" is beyond the worst thing you have ever experienced. I was advised that they would provide no details to me (the sender - whose goods they are holding) on the location of a consignment that was sent more than 5 weeks prior. I was advised that I must speak with a particular person who would not be available again until the following day (it was 3pm on a weekday). I was advised that the superior of that person was also unavailable - and that no other person was available to speak with me. The agent - Rachael - then advised that she was going to terminate the call - and hung up on me.

Northline, you are an utter disgrace. Get out of business and save us all.

I swear they just rotate excuses, before track was flooded its unexpected and made sense kinda that wasnt collected in week or so but this is over now and cleared up weeks ago so cant use this excuse anymore so thought it would be safe to book again, my item not collected again of course and told on the phone 'We dont know when they can collect there is a backlog' no idea of when can get or anything so bad! She even said 'we cant call them either as they dont want phone calls anymore from us (the depot guys) ' lol.so she can only offer to email them about it.great work. The thing that really really really grinds me here, is all the while they keep TAKING BOOKINGS, then stop! Tell transdirect. 'take us off' or at least put a WARNING up, everytime i have this with northline you can just keep booking it making their issues worse and worse. I can go and book another northline right now no warning or anything, making it harder for them and the customer.help yourself help the customer and tell them so they will use another.just one line of text on the website will do it.pathetic.

Worst experience, went with northline and paid extra compared to other couriers. Has been sitting at the dest depot for days and they can't tell me when it can be delivered. Which courier company does not provide an ETA for delivery.
We need to know so we can plan ahead.

Absolute worst. Promised to pick up each day for 3 days in a row, but never came. Canceled the job when I found out there was a 2 week delay once it reached the depot.

Terrible customer service. I made a booking for a collection and after the consignment was not collected I phoned to inquire when collection would be. I was told they couldn't give me a date. The consignment is a number of large boxes that need to be moved to an easily accessible location every day, in hope that they will be collected.
No apology and no solution is absolutely unacceptable.

280 bucks to move a 1.8m box 45minutes away.
Picked up 4 weeks ago and now i cant even get hold of northline. Cant get a refund from sydney tools because my orders been "picked up"

Will be visiting their Sunshine depot soon

Tania who finaly relpied to an email keeps blameing covid when its mid feb 2022. Melbourne is functioning! I can get parcels sent from america or china here in 3 days! Its no excuse! Especialy when my 1.8m long box that needed to be delived only had to travel 45 minutes closer to melbourne CBD

I’m a pretty patient person and understanding to the extra stress put on companies with covid but I have a parcel sent out on the 7th Feb, this quickly arrived into the depot in Melbourne but since then has been no update. I have called to follow up only to get a response saying they can’t not give me an eta on the delivery but I can arrange a time to come in and collect. Which is not something I am able to arrange. When you pay for a service you expect a service to be provided but my goods are currently sitting in a depot for almost a month now with no eta and no contact from Northline. I find this really disappointing. My children are also very upset as they wait to received their birthday present

Wish I could give 1/2 star! Got a text message advising item was to be delivered Friday 28/1! Waited all day and no delivery, no communication. Rang twice and both been told pandemic, short staff can’t tell when it will be delivered. If urgent come and pick it up from their warehouse. What the? What’s the point of paying for delivery? They can’t advise when my item will be delivered! So bad!

I ordered a delivery service from Melbourne to Newcastle via Big Post Platform. My crates have been dispatched on 10th Jan and never deliverd to our client. I called the center everyday but never Northline team can get in touch with their agent which means they can't do anything until they got confrim from agent. Now we decide go to depot to pick up by ourselves but already 2 days they haven't given us the address or information for depot. Now I am confused where are my crates? Customer Email nevery reply the email. Anyone can give advise what can I do for next step. Big post give up as well.
