Noodle Jone reviews
49First time I have been disappointed by Noodle Jone. Usually spot on with flavour/ingredients etc. Tonight? Special fried rice was cold and stodgy. Not happy Jone
The food here is excellent, it's very well priced, and is best as a takeaway. Although there are tables for dining in, you are still in a takeaway food shop, so the atmosphere is just that. The dumplings are recommended, as is the beef hor fan, the beef and black bean noodles, and the ginger steak. Recommended for food to go.
2nd request of vegetarian meal gone wrong in one order. 2nd try of order we were very clear, fried rice, no meat. Received another meal full of meal with a snappy, unapologetic reception from front desk that shoved the rice across towards me saying "here".
My partner and I ordered takeout after the movies.
This place use to be my go to when living in Frankston 12 years ago.
The food does not disappoint
Still very cheap
Lovely staff
And many choices
Yummylicious as always
My partner ordered
Wonton noodle soup
Fried Pork dumplings
Combination Fried rice
Steamed dim sims
I rated the atmosphere low because it feels more like a dying shop than anything else but I think thats more to do with Frankston alone if you look around Frankston city now everything outside of the mall feels like it's dying alot of shops have closed the Sunday markets have stopped and hasnt reopened yet now apart from the atmosphere and the services is normal the food is amazing although I only normally have few dishes wonton noodle soup ho-fun or dumplings which everytime I eat these dishes I feel like I eat them with my soul rather than my stomach so if you're in the area noodle Jones is one of my recommendations
Very poor last couple of times. All noodles and not much else. Pay for a hot noodle and it barely has flavour let alone heat.
Honey chicken was nice, bit the special fried rice wasn't as nice tasted burnt and no prawns, disappointed
Ok this place is one of a kind. The menue is kind of weird having 5-6 asian countries dishes listed there, but you should go there, as they create awesome wok hay flavours you won't find anywhere else nearby. Prices a legit and incredients are fresh (you can see them, putting the dish together) : verdict - weird menu - amazing wok 'hay' smokey flavour - looks a bit like an asian subway.go in there when you are in Frankston
This place used to be great. Fantastic Laksa and the sweet and sour was the best around. I think they've changed chefs, my Laksa was terrible last week and today. Last week I hoped it was a one-off, but today it wasn't good either. Pity.
Just ordered a Mongolian beef and a black pepper beef noodle box for the first time from Noodle Jone.
By far the best noodles I’ve ever eaten.
Very happy new customers.
A beautiful tasty noodles with fresh ingredients.
Ordered vegetarian Thai noodles and it was made fresh and served quickly. Very reasonably priced too.
Good customer service, and yummy food is certainly the ingredients of success.
An excellent little cafe serving Asian styled dishes.
The service is fast and friendly, with the option of eat in or takeaway.
Amazing as always! Super fresh, perfect balance of flavours. Been coming here for over 20 yrs and never been disappointed! Singapore noodles are the best!
Waited 1.5 hours for beef black bean and honey soy chicken with 3 dimmies. Cost $49 to receive luke warm food, 2 pieces of chicken in a massive bowl full of noodles and no vegetables, same with the beef black bean. Had WAY better in other local shops. Never again
Delicious food: fried rice and satay chicken noodles. Friendly and helpful staff. Allowed me to sit while ordering and awaiting food. Brought eftpos machine to me (because I can't stand for long).
Stingy and greedy. Paid 13$ for a special fried rice that came with barely any meat or veg. Was literally just a tub of steamed rice with a bunch of bean sprouts.
If you are too cheap too put a half decent amount of quality ingredients in your food thats fine, but dont charge so much money for such little quality. Shameful!
Really impressed! All of the food was prepared super fresh & really fast, despite them being absolutely flat out. They happily made adjustments to accommodate allergies & their prices are great! Highly recommended!
Good local noodles, just wish they'd bring back the cardboard noodle boxes instead of these new plastic bowls.
I ordered some satay skewers and the chicken was still raw and pink. I told the staff and she was so rude. Didn't apologize and snapped at me saying I'll make you another. And than the chef come over and handed me some new ones which were still raw! I asked for refund and got it and they still weren't sorry. They actually can cook good food but they hate serving white caucasian males and are extremely racist. Be careful
Absolutely love their Singapore noodles! Always my go to! Never fails to make me “feel better” I always want noodle Jone Singapore noodles whenever there’s a chance! Highly recommend
