N.Lee Bakery reviews
56My favourite pie shop, delicious, especially the Curry pie and the Beef and cheese pie, yummy cakes too
Been coming here for 25 years and it’s just as awesome today as it has ever been. Cater well to veg & vegan, priced well. This is a must try for anyone living in Melbourne. Stripped back, the focus is on the food. The way it should be.
Best banh mi you’ll ever have! I order from here every week, and it’s always perfect. Super fresh bread, great flavours and an amazing range of toppings. When I ate meat, the pork with extra crackle was incredible, but now I get the tofu with avocado absolutely INSANE! So delicious every time!
Used to be amazing.not anymore, long wait (with very few people in line), poor quality bahn mi
Love coming here every time and the Banh Mi are always delicious. This is mostly a takeaway bakery so it makes sense for the atmosphere to be 2 stars
We were walking down Smith street and noticed a long line out the door to this bakery and decided to give it a go.
BEST BAHN MI I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE.
The grilled pork roll was insanely delicious. 100% worth the wait and very reasonably priced.
Thank you for being here
Best meatball rolls in town. The vanilla custard slice compliments well your lunch options. Staff are friendly and attentive even in busy times. Worth the wait.
Unfortunately N. Lee on Smith Street has gone downhill. A newly introduced $10 Eftpos limit, coupled with being charged different amounts for the same thing every time I go there has stopped me returning. The introduction of the buzzers when ordering has blown out the wait time so you can't grab a quick roll in your lunch break anymore. Staff are often brash or rude. I get sushi for work lunches now which is quicker and more economical.
An N. Lee Bahn mi is by far the best breakfast in Collingwood! Bread is soooo fresh and crispy
really good spot for an affordable coffee they use a great oat milk 10/10/10
Their attitude towards customers is bad. And they don't keep order. They are a problem before doing business.
Worst banh mi I’ve had in a long while. Stale bread and got the order wrong. It’s either gone down significantly or I’ve caught one of the ladies on a bad day
LUNCH TIME!
Today we got 2 chicken banh mi’s, 2 chicken rice paper rolls and some ice tea. The banh mi was extremely large, fresh and satiating. It is the first time I have experienced one with actually fresh bread. The chicken rice paper rolls were 10/10. I don’t know how they did them. If they were on tinder everyone would swipe right.
My wife and I tried this place for the first time, Ordering 1 Chicken & 1 pork Banh Mi.
My wife enjoy her pork roll but I on the other hand wasn't so pleased with the chicken.
My roll had maybe half of the salad hers did.
Also the chicken was quite dry.
Food is a 4/5 but 25 minute wait for a bahn mi is nuts. What're they doing back there
Still the best banh mi despite so much more competition. Super busy on nice weather days but there's a buzzer system now for orders, just expect to wait 15-30 minutes for your roll.
Just recovered from 4 days in bed with food poisoning after eating a pork roll Saturday afternoon.out of pocket after Losing work, feel horrible still. Please check your health standards.
Quite simply the best banh mi in Melbourne. Always busy, but the food is top notch every time as are the happy staff. Thank you!
Very popular place, and it's because of the Bahn Mi. Need to line up but we got served quickly. We got a buzzer, and it was a 10 min wait for our Bahn Mi, but it was Easter Saturday, so very busy
$10.30 for a pork Bahn mi with crackling is too expensive. It’s good no doubt but not one of the best anymore unfortunately. Roast pork is a tad dry too but the pate is excellent.
