Nine Elephants Thai Restaurant reviews
53One of the very few places to find authentic thai food in Docklands, prices are reasonable, gets very busy during lunch hours and not easy to reserve a place with short notice.
We arrived at Nine Elephants at 545pm. This restaurant is awesome. The menu is extensive. We ordered Chicken Satay to share as an Entree. My partner had a Massaman Curry which he said was delicious. I had the Prawn Pad Thai which was the best I have ever had. The service is very pleasant and efficient, the restaurant is very clean. Prices are very good value. Highly recommend Nine Elephants.
Have been to this restaurant multiple times, great food and good service. I am a vegetarian and I found a lot of options to try.
Great service and lovely food. Entree were lovely and not really that hot, main was delicious however I had to order it with no chilli as I am not a fan of overly hot food.
Dessert was absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful answering any questions we had and was able to deliver food within reasonable time from ordering. The Ice Coffee is deliciously strong and sweet.
Would definitely recommend and also go back.
Satay Chicken wrapped in Roti with peanut sauce.
Drunken Chicken.
Staff were very accomodating from the moment we walked in the door, seated quickly with noise levels to a minimum. NE have a vast variety of menu options, and clearly indicate which dishes are spicy and those without.
I recommend the Nine Signature Spaghetti ️
Very good restaurant for quality of food and price range. Only downside is very small restaurant highly recommend booking a table before heading out to the restaurant
Ordered the massaman curry and somewhat disappointed in serving size and lack of veggies and taste. But a lot of meat. Other side items were good.
Excellent bang for your buck Thai food surrounded by many restaurants and gastro pubs charging much more
Easily some of the nicest Thai food I've ever had, exceptionally cheap for the quality too, and with Singha on tap, can't go wrong. Definitely worth the visit if near, just beware the limited parking nearby and small size of the dining area.
Get there early or book a table, venue is tiny and food is delicious so you better like take away if you're there after 12 on the dot for lunch
Best Thai place I have been to in Melbourne. Lots of options and amazing taste and dishes. A bit small place so booking in advance is always recommended. But never disappoints. Gai Hom Pah (chicken) is the top dish in my list and I cannot help but order atleast 1 every single time. And Green Curry Fried rice is top notch. Another thing that I can't stop myself from ordering. So is the Cashew nut stir fry with chicken which is too yummy. The crisp and spicy soft shell crab entree is also very tasty.
Made biggest mistake by ordering a green papaya salad with mixed seafood for lunch.so spicy and so much garlic its actually non edible. 2 prawns and 1 muscle and that was $18
Over hyped. Crowded. Noisy.
Have to eat food while people wait outside looking inside for a table to become free.
Severely delayed service.
In the end, the food was decent but doesn't live up to the hype.
The place seems to be a victim of its own success.
Dined in for dinner on monday, its quite and calm. Good ambience and a decent list of drinks menu.
In terms of customer service and food quality they have lots of room to improve.
Loved this place very much.
Foods are tasty and prices are reasonable.
We tried both veg and non-veg foods and both types are really good.
The food here is delicious but the wait times always seem to be loooonnnggggg.it's small so it gets busy really quick. Worth eating here but book ahead and be prepared to wait!
Good food, great for small office get-together's. Food spice levels are also quite good (considering I've quite a good spice tolerance). Had their signature fried rice and was pretty good both in terms of flavors and spice.will like to try something different next time.
One of my favourite Thai restaurants in melbourne! The chicken wings and their seasoning are superb. Dishes are always quality and consistent. I like the pad Thai too.
Disgusting place if you’re doing a take away. No staff manners to let you know how much time the order takes. Ordered for a pad Thai and after 25 min they realised my order and made me wait 20 more mins in hot sun! Phew will never be here again
Ordered Green Curry Chicken, Stir Fry Prawn, Coconut Rice, Pad Thai, Fish Cake and Iced tea. Prawn and Tea was really nice. The green curry was huge huge disappointment. It was very watery, lacked seasoning - overall tasted really weird.
