Such a lovely, beautiful, quiet little winery in Smith's Gully. Pizzas are perfection.

Brilliant place for a leisurely weekend lunch. The menu is mostly limited to pizzas, but the pizzas are great - and the wines as well. There is not a large selection of either, the the quality of both is excellent.

Says the board that leads to this place. While this is mostly true, they should have added a few more boards at the entrance.

"Don't come in if you have kids"
"NO ENTRY if you have kids with special needs"

Get trained in hospitality if you can't understand kids with special needs.

Been here a few times, and I could rate this place exactly the same for each visit.
Great location, very serene with lovely views. Prices are reasonable and the food is tasty and the pizzas are amazing.
Unfortunately, although the staff are friendly, the service is woefully bad. Has been every time. Most tables around us didn’t have food on the table.
Today it took 20 minutes for the plates to arrive on the table and another 10 minutes for a Chardonnay and a coffee to arrive. Then the pizza came sometime after that.
I would have hoped that service had picked up and the owners had some training in the hospitality business.

Probably enough is enough and given we are spoilt for choices in this region, I won’t be back.

Chanmali and her team were amazing and made my 40th birthday a truly beautiful experience. The view is breathtaking with delicious pizza's. Hard to pick a favourite but it would be between the mushroom and Salami pizza's. Chanmali was also able to cater to our gluten free friend would definitely recommend for something a little more private.

A great place away from all the hustle and bustle, beautiful Pinot and delicious pizzas. Will keep returning!

Celebrated a milestone birthday recently at Nillumbik Winery. The venue is excellent and surrounding area and views superb. The owner was flexible with what we wanted to do and staff on the evening very friendly, helpful when required, but were happy to stay in the background otherwise. The food and wine, beer & soft drink all delicious, with a good selection.
The winery played a huge part in the whole evening turning out to be very special. We definitely recommend Nillumbik Winery for any occasion and will be returning.

Absolutely beautiful meal and wine. Great live singing and lovely caring waiters/waitresses. Definitely coming back for more.

Wine is OK, food is below average (pizza with frozen dough), and poor service - it’s Christmas eve so probably this is acceptable, but still there is room for improvement.

Bad experience today… waiter not helpful, was not able to clean a table for us on the terrace.
We left without tasting the wine. I wouldn’t recommend it, not friendly.

Celebrated our sons 21st with family here today. Sitting on the deck on a picture perfect sunny day surrounded by vines and bush…blissful. Love this little winery, the wines are good, the pizza delicious and the staff friendly. Thank you for making it easy to celebrate the 21st. Recommend this winery completely.

Was lucky enough to have lunch and a few wines on the weekend at this gem of a cellar door. Enjoyed wine tasting, nice spread of antipasto and pizza with a serene view. Next time Im coming with a group of friends so they can enjoy.

Had the most fantastic time at Nillumbik Estate recently. The food.wine and service were all great. The staff are genuinely lovely, nothing is too difficult for them. It's such a beautiful picturesque venue I'll will be considering it as venue for future birthdays. Thank you to the staff for the lovely lunch. We attended Nullumbik for my mums birthday as we just moved to kinglake and wanted to try out somewhere local.
The staff came to the table to take our order and forgot to take 2 people’s orders and just walked off. They aren’t exactly friendly either.
Only pizzas on the menu which taste like they come out of McCans pizza box

Good experience, nice pizza. Sitting outside looking over the filed to the north with layers of hills in front.

Pizzas were fine I guess, but the view from the deck is the real drawcard (the indoors area is very uninspiring). Service for us today was very inattentive - we were the forgotten table. Twice needed to go and fetch some service from inside, and once it was to get the bottle of wine we'd ordered 20 mins earlier. Owner was nice enough, but we won't rush back.

Our go-to place! The view is amazing, service is exceptional and the wine is terrific. We will be back again very soon!
