50Worst customer service ever. I purchased a TV from here 6 weeks ago in which I had not received. I then sent 2 emails in which no one replied too. I then called to find out the TV was over sold and there was no more in stock. No one even tried to contact me to let me know and I would still be waiting un aware if I had not called. I then had to upgrade my TV and pay an extra $451 as I need a TV ASAP. Worst service

• 3 Jan – Contacted Webfeedback and store via email.
• 6 Jan – Store contacted me “We’ve been waiting for you to pick it up"
Not true. No email, no call, no text.
• 8 Jan – Drove 15K to pick it up and there was a paper note on the
door that said “Closed. Will Open Soon”.
Cancelled order, refund was prompt.
First and last experience with Betta.
Ordered a George Foreman grill in November. Still haven’t received or had a follow up call. Sent a text message to get a confirmation and called. Still no reply.
Please do yourself a favour and price match at the Good Guys, Harvey Norman or appliances online and purchase there. Much better service, less stress and better communication anywhere else really. I had to cancel my order made on Black Friday a month later and preferred to pay extra for better service and an actual delivery date.
Poor/unorganised Customer Service Footscray Store!
Ordered a dishwasher after confirming twice with the staff and was confirmed that we have stock.
Staff specifically mentioned to order from Footscray as other stores don’t have stock
It took betta 4 days to find they not have stock.

My interaction was all over the phone while moving house, and during lockdown 5- so I was in a bit of a state looking for a fridge. These guys were so helpful. With a bit of luck involved, Anna helped me get a fridge and washer delivered that same afternoon. I felt staff were genuinely invested in my customer experience. No fuss, super easy. Will be a first choice in the future.
It is clear that these guys are really trying hard to come back from their negative reviews on this business and the other business they trade under, Countdown Deals Pty Ltd.
While I got my order within a reasonable order of ordering online - they could improve on customer service and trying to commit to their promises.
I got a call from an employee offering me the eco model of the heater I order for no extra cost - they said that it is exactly the same model only with a eco function. When I received my item, it appears to be an upgrade which is good but there was a very slight dint one side and it only comes with 2 heat options and not the 3 I had originally ordered.
I was also advised they will email me an updated invoice reflecting the change in my order - they still have not gotten around to doing this, which is slightly concerning as it does not make me feel comfortable to reach out to the business to try and rectify these issues because I don't want the hassle and waiting with constantly having to follow up or knowing they may not take me seriously.
I have emailed them about the change of invoice and made a follow up call regarding this and the shipping. The person I spoke to in my follow up call was a bit short with me and didn't offer any reassurance they would email the invoice.
In conclusion, the shipping was reasonable and the product works fine - as compassionate as I would be with trying to understand where this business is coming from, I would be a little cautious as they are not consistent if you go through the reviews for both businesses (this one and Countdown Deals Pty Ltd).
Generally dont like using unknown sites but I really wanted this particular kettle. Got the item I ordered, it was exactly what I wanted and better price than elsewhere. The people I spoke to were friendly and extremely helpful. Returned my call promptly and answered all my questions. Would use again.
The boss, Mr Fang, was really friendly and not only did he price-matched the items that we bought, he also gave us a discount on top on that. Would highly recommend this place to shop! Thank you Boss Fang:)
Now that Panasonic has, unfortunately, pulled the plug on importing TVs into Australia stock is becoming harder to find. As some other reviewers have noted, this Betta Home Living store in Footscray is a complete revelation: they seem to have stock of Audio and Video products out of which other retailers have completely sold out. I found exactly what I wanted - a 65 inch GX600 series Panasonic LED TV, which was within my budget, albeit not being sold at a great discount any more. Any way, had to bite the bullet on this one as there were only three left. I ordered the TV on Saturday and it arrived pronto on Monday midday. Top marks, Betta! Anna, the store manager, was a tough negotiator on price but very customer focused so a deal was done. This store is seriously a treasure trove of products and, rather than just on display, the products are actually in stock. Their inventory goes well beyond what is in the current Betta catalogue. As well as Panasonic, they have an incredible selection of current and previous model LG, Chiq (Changhong apparently), Hisense, TCL and Samsung TVs, hifi mini systems, sound bars and many models of Japanese, Korean and Chinese model blu ray and DVD players. Wow, just wow! If you're not a local, this is worth the drive.
I was looking for a Panasonic GZ1000 65" OLED. After searching the internet everywhere, I finally found it at Beta Home Living Footscray. I contacted company to see if they had it in stock. Yes they did. I live in Gippsland. Anna from Newtone BHL organised everything for me. My TV arrived the next day as promised. Absolutly awesome customer service. I highly recommend Newtone BHL Footscray. I could not have had a better service. Thank you so much.
Worth looking around to find these guys. Very helpful, great service, had the transaction completed quickly and picked up our goods within the hour. I am still waiting for calls back from other suppliers. Great work guys!

If there’s something you intend to buy from betta, don’t deal with this store go down the road to a different betta. Staff aren’t half bad, there nice people.
