Got delivery arrangements for today between 1-5 and no one came.
I called at 4: 30 to double check and they told me it has been picked up, it’s a bad traffic but it will still come today.
I waited till 6: 20 and still no one coming so I called and they said it’s after hour so there is nothing they can do & said delivery can sometimes not happen it is delivery people’s fault.

Well then they shouldn’t tell me to make sure someone is home between 1-5 or at least tell me prior that delivery won’t happen.

One of my favourite appliance store. Kieu was an excellent staff who provides exceptional service and gave good discount when buying in high quantities for my development project. She also helped to deliver the items within same day. I’ll keep coming back in the future.

The Return policy they have should be illegal! I bought a brand new Samsung Sound Bar and right out of the box it was defective. I brought it into the store for testing within 24 hours of purchase and they agreed its faulty, No refund or exchange was offered. Instead they made ME call Samsung myself and after 4 hours of my time wasted no solution was adequate. I now have to wait until Samsung send their technicians to look at it at my house. I paid more for convivence of picking it up close by when stores with cheaper prices and better policies were available. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!

Called them regarding the availability of a new washing machine, and they were able to give me all the information and was delivered within 2 days! Anna was very nice and helpful and sorted out the whole order

I have come here twice, once to buy a fridge, and both times I've received great service to help me buy what worked best for me. My fridge was delivered the day I purchased it. I've had above and beyond service from David, thank you again for your help!

I ordered a food processor 2 months back. Still haven’t received it. Customer service is so poor. Everytime I call, they lie saying the package would arrive next week. Their attitude is also very bad. I will never ever buy anything from Betta again. Looks like a scam to me now. They won’t even refund or cancel now. All my afterpay payments have gone through but I still haven’t received the food processor. I’m not sure what to do now!

Almost impossible to get a delivery from these guys.

The phone lady yells down at you while she is talking to you. Everyone is mentioning a lady called Anna. It was probably her I dealt with. I respect her position in the business. But she speaks on behalf of the quality of the whole business. So if that's how you want to be represented, you're doing a great job.

We tried for several days to get our order delivered. Every time we called they said the order wasn't picked up and the truck was full. And that they'd try again another day.

I heard later on from the driver that the delivery (CBD) was too far of a drive and they didn't want to take the job. So everyone just kept leaving the freezer at the warehouse and cherry-picking the easy orders to get paid.

I mean, that comment alone from the delivery driver speaks a ton about who they're hiring and sending for their jobs.

If I had to provide my honest opinion. Don't buy from these guys. Read the other reviews. They're all the same. The business is mismanaged and the delivery is a freaking headache. Youpp be waiting and wasting time daily if you live in another direction to the drivers preferred route.

Good guys, jb hifi, so forth. They're offering next day delivery and the drivers turn up without a sweat.

I made an online purchase 1 week ago.

One week+ after. I was promised the delivery of my online purchase on Sunday morning. I asked for a time frame, the lady couldn't give me one. I was only told to be at home and to have my phone with me. On Sunday I waited until 11am. I called to check the ETD and the same lady said it will be delivered in the afternoon. I felt annoyed my Sunday morning was wasted. She proceeded to tell me that it has been loaded onto the truck and will be delivered in the afternoon before 5pm. I felt annoyed that I had to wait ALL day now for my purchase!

I waited and received a call around 4pm and from a man from Betta saying that it unfortunately it could not be delivered. My purchase could not fit onto the truck and they were concentrated doing deliveries in the western suburbs. I was LIVID that my whole Sunday was wasted waiting around for NOTHING! He assured me that it will be delivered 1-5 pm the next day with Allied.

Update: It's now 6.30pm Monday. I have been waiting all afternoon again for my purchase! I called 4.45pm and the man assured me it was on its way as it was already with the driver.

WHERE IS MY PURCHASE!? ! I demand to have it delivered FIRST THING tomorrow morning!

I will never buy from Betta again. I will go to JBHifi, Good Guys or Harvey Norman from now on! It has been the worst customer service!

I ordered a microwave online.
Waited for two weeks, no updates on delivery.
Sent an email enquiry, no response.
I called them to be told that it was not available anymore and they were waiting for a new model. They should have notified me of this, but I accepted that and asked for the details of a new model. They could not find them on the spot and told me they would email me. No emails, of course.
Instead, I received an invoice for someone else’s order. I still have no idea about this.
I called again to hear the same thing and that they did not have any information on a new model. When I mentioned cancelling, the person simply hung up on me.

I recently bought a new fridge from Newtone Betta Home Living and have been nothing but impressed by the service. I dealt with the lovely Anna, always responsive to phone calls and emails, returned my messages and went out of her way with information about the appliance. I would recommend anyone in need of white goods / appliances, to give them a go. Good old fashioned service at it's very best where they still respect the customer's needs, even well after you have paid - thank you - 5 gold stars for me.

Asked for refund on 3 March 2022 and sent all the details Anna requested on the same day.

I have sent follow up emails on 10 Mar, 22 Mar, and no response.

Called Anna on 24 Mar and she said she will process the refund. I had her stay on the line while I send her bank details via email, and she confirmed she received it.

No refund still. So I called back on 04 Apr and 07 Apr, each time she saying she will process it.

Called on 12 Apr and asked for manager, Kuan Pung, and I was told that she is refusing to get on the phone.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, and a manger that refuses to speak with customers.

Even the guy on the phone was absolutely atrocious, refuses to provide his name, and said "he doesn't care" about their customer service.

Had to go through BSR head office to get the request sorted, let see what happens.

I bought a drying machine here- they have exceptional service- it was delivered the next day as they had stock-door to door free delivery is awesome and they are happy to work with you for an ideal delivery time as well-easy to reach them on phone- delivery was great product was in great condition-will recommend this place over Harvey Norman and the goodguys for sure-

We bought a Sharp refrigerator which developed some issues within the first few months. We contacted Betta Electrical and they requested we contact the manufacturers agent, which we did. As we were going through lockdowns, we had to wait for the technician to attend, when he could (no ones fault so far) the technician attended and made his report to the manufacturers agents.this took quite a few months to get a response.
Eventually, the agents sent us a return authority to take the fridge back and get a refund. We contacted Betta Home Living to arrange a return.
Anna, the manager, stated that they don't sell Sharp fridges and have never heard of the agents (which supplied them with the fridge}.
We made numerous calls, where we were placed on hold for over 90 minutes. Anna would hang up when we called her to sort it out.
The agents called her and emailed her several times and Anna stated that she never received them. We forwarded them to her ourselves and still she said she didn't receive them. We then sent her emails, while she was on the phone to her and she confirmed that she received them. When we followed up she had stated she had no emails and didn't know anything about it. She now just hangs up on us, when we call. We contacted consumer affairs, as what she has done is illegal. We also managed to contact a lovely guy at Sharp, named David, who called Anna and confirmed that she refused to provide a refund, even thought she can claim it back from the manufacturers agent. The matter has been escalated with the agent with Davids help. Hopefully something will happen soon. We have previously purchased another fridge and a washing machine from them and thankfully, there were no warranty issues. I wish I had read the reviews before buying from these crooks. Buyer beware. They will gladly tale your money but if there are warranty issues, do not expect Anna to do the right thing. You have been warned.
