What an incredible dinner. A lovely little joint with very reasonable prices and flavourful dishes. We tried a couple of items on the menu of which tempered potato and coconut sambal were the highlight. Worth the visit.

Food tastes amazing. Not too hot for me as I'm used to a lot more spices. But you would love it probably.
No much parking as this is just on the side of the road so I suggest you place an order come pick it up. There's space to sit and eat but not the nicest atmosphere so I'd probably do a takeaway.

Prices are good. Pretty cheap.

I ordered egg and plain hoppers. It was ready on time for pickup. Polite staff and friendly service. Food was fresh and tasty. Will come back again.

Food very similar to Srilanka as they are not using much vegis to fried rice even we got plenty/cheap in here by maintaining the same quality and quantity, and food cheap as well. People coming as a group there, so noisy, same like srilanka. If they can notify them to not to disturb others, to enjoy their food will be good.

Went with my family for lunch and we had such a great time.friendly service, really good food.i really like their fish curry and thier fried rice special.

This is undoubtedly one of the finest Sri Lankan restaurant's in Melbourne. Have been frequenting this place for a few years now, the food here is authentic and delicious. Their rice and curry lunch, lamprais & Sri Lankan style Chicken fried rice are all true value for money. Highly recommended.

Love the devilled chicken and fried rice! Probably the best in Melbourne! Kottu roti is also good!

I liked Sri Lankan food when u holidayed there a while back. So when I craved for String hoppers, which is a traditional food from Sri Lanka, I found this place online. We ordered for takeaway and the string hoppers were as good as I hoped for. But one thing I never had before was what I enjoyed the most and it was the wattalappaam -a brown sugar based coconut pudding. It's a bit expensive for the portion given though.

The Ceylon parotta is one of the best I had in Melbourne. The staff is also very polite and made our takeaway quickly.

We had the worst hopper experience
Straight of the Bain Marie hoppers were cold and old and curries were totally off. Never recommend this place to anyone

Delicious meal everytime we go. Highly recommend the goat curry. Best we have had. The owner is such a lovely guy.

Very friendly and efficient service. Plenty of food at a very low price. Food was very tasty and the service was quick. Enjoyed chatting with the owners about Sri Lanka after our meal.

Very poor standard of food. Food was stale and cold! Poor service and hygiene. We wasted most of the dinner as we could not eat! Was embarrassed by taking friends to the restaurant.

This was our first time having Sri Lankan cuisine and this restaurant was the perfect place to start. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. He helped us pick our meals and adapted it a little to help with the spiciness typical of Sri Lankan food. We ordered Chicken rolls, chicken from the grill, rice and plain roti. It was all very well prepared! We will definitely be back to try something different!

Best sri Lankan food in melbourne. A must try. Good size options. Recommend take away and eat in.

Only good thing was the waitress smiled at us once we arrived.

They were busy preparing for a big booking so we were redirected to a corner spot. Not too bad.

We never got offered even a drink of water for about 20 min when we had to ask for it

We were organised enough to check the menu online. But our choices were sold out sadly.

We ordered 2 Biryani took easy 25 minutes.
The meat was just on the hot plates needed to be served. But for some reason took them forever.

My food arrived cold.

Surprisingly enough when the big group walked through the door they were treated like kings. Water. Cutlery. And The food was out in under 5 minutes.

Oh we had to go get our own cutlery. They had a sign. Go help yourself.

So we had to go get ours while their friends had a totally different treatment.

Got to the cutlery table and found ONE spoon that's got dry dirty food at the back of it.

And finally the checkout.
Surprised in 2018 we still need to pay extra $$ just because we are dinning in and not taking our food away.

Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely TERRIBLE. The tables and floor are dirty. Our table was not even wiped down when we sat down, we had to clean it ourselves.

There were a couple of white strands of hair in our food. We told the waiter, the chef didn't care and they did nothing. The food was served cold. It wasn't even hot. There was NO customer service.

We LOVE SriLankan food and have been to a lot of SriLankan restaurants in Melbourne. This is the WORST restaurant experience ever and we will NEVER come back. You have just lost a potential raving fan.
