Wow, as an Australian, l have to say this is a brilliant place to visit to learn about Ned Kelly & his family history.
The staff are dedicated to keeping this museum up to date with newly found artefacts. Their passion to share the information of what's in the museum keeps you engaged.
Great replica house to walk through, and explore.
$12 for adults.
And a great shop full of gifts to buy.
I liked how they also gave me information on the free self walk around Glenrowan on the famous Kelly Seige.
Please support museums everywhere you go in small towns.
Great collection of Kelly and Historic memorabilia. Definitely worth a look. Say Hello Cocky when you meet the larrikkns out back.
Very informative experience with an easy to follow structure that spans from John "Red" Kelly arriving in Australia to Ned's hanging.
The replica homestead out the back is a site not to be missed and the various vintage items throughout show how interesting the time period was.
To be honest, I've no interest or previous knowledge of Ned Kelly but we stopped here as someone in our party did. Upon entering the fairly tacky gift shop that fronts the museum, I was greeted with 'golly' dolls for sale and straight away, there was no chance I'd be giving this business any of my money. No defence for such racist material to be on sale at all.
Nice little town stayed at the motel very friendly people then went to the museum great place to stop
Couple who run it were very friendly & offered alot of information locally & about our destination. Lots of interesting information about Ned Kelly & his story are on show.
Well worth the price of a ticket plenty of memorabilia information and an enthusiastic host do the walking tour after and it all comes together a couple of hours well spent
The owner had gone to enormous lengths to make the interactive animated attractions entertaining and engaging. The attention to detail in re-creating the Ned Kelly era was amazing. This is definitely a must see attraction.
The bloke at the counter was very friendly, well mannered with the children and very respectful about the old Australian history which alot of children need to learn.
Excellent experience with new effects and autotrons. The story was very well told.
Having a group to go through with would be best.
Very interesting and informative about the our famous Bed Kelly. Highly recommended a visit.
Staff were very pleasant, helpful, friendly and polite. So much to look at and read about. Very well laid out. Well worth the visit.

Definitely worth a visit
Great museum, great gift shop, great staff. The short film on Elmore area very good. A must see.
Everyone should visit this museum, it is well worth the money. The young man who owns and runs it is so passionate about it and he is very talented.
If you go to Glen Rowan it is a must see
Well worth the effort great museum plenty to see a animation side show. Show starts every half hour. Brilliant
Enjoyed our wander around this lovely little Museum with a wealth of information and replicas. The Kelly house out the back is well done and really gives you a feel for how they lived in past days. I really enjoyed learning about the history of Ned Kelly. We also visited Beechworth where he was trialed first and we think we found his unmarked grave site at Greta Cemetary. At $12 pp, this Museum is the most expensive that we have been to. They would make more than enough selling all of the Kelly trinkets and gifts out front in the shop.
Great place. Sadly I didn't realise we could have gone through to view the home and other bits and pieces so will have to check it out next trip.
I did however get to grab some sheep (lanolin) cream for myself and emu oil for my dad.
Owners very passionate of their business. Only 2weeks into their purchase but lived in the area all their lives
A lovely little museum with lots of historical memorabilia. Worth the small detour on tour road trip.
