A must do and an eye opener. The interactive introduction was a highlight and explained in an easy to understand way why the war happened and why Australia entered into it and for me was something everyomne needs to see. The place is a need to see for everyone

Really excellent but allow yourself a good 2 to 3 hours as there is so much to see.
Our guide, John, was extremely knowledgeable and we suggest a guided tour is the best way to learn about this time in history.
We will certainly visit again and allow more time.
The Cafe serves very good coffee and food and staff are very welcoming.

Great museum. Lots to look at and they are working on more planes to display. School children were there and our family enjoyed the visit. My 2 and half year old grandson absolutely loved it.

Very informative and interactive display highlighting the courage and commitment of Australians in the Vietnam war. Thanks to this who put it together and the volunteers and Veterans for their service to Australia and the world.

Worth a visit. For the history. Price of admission is very reasonable. We spent just under 2 hours there.
Every little bit of free space is taken with props and info, but not in a cluttered way. Very easy to walk around and very informative. If you are around the area pop in.

Poignant, sometimes disturbing, but very well presented displays. A visit to Phillip Island will not be complete without a few very well spent hours here.
Oh and the volunteers and staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

We needed more time to explore this incredible museum. We only got to see the lower level so will definitely be back to explore the upper level. A great place to reflect and pay your respects.

Interesting lot of items including some large restored artifacts but wasn't real clear on the historical timelines. Very friendly and helpful staff though. Certainly learnt about the war that we didn't know before.

I have no previous interest in this type of thing. That said this place was WELL Worth the visit.
So many interesting artefacts, helicopters, tanks, planes, and so much more. A great light and sound show to explain the history of Australian involvement.
Well done to all the volunteers that make this museum great.
Thank you service men and women for your service.

A very good museum to visit, full of great displays. Allow at least a couple of hours as there is so much to see.
A wonderful testament to Australia & NZ's commitment to, & learning experience about the Vietnam war.

My IBIS writing group struck gold with meeting in the very comfortable meeting room at the Veterans Museum. Phill Dressing, the manager is very accommodating and I've helped out with Tech issues. Chris in the Nui Dat cafe makes scrumptious food & the last two computer courses of the term (which I tutor) were run there. Although I haven't been into the actual museum, I can see that it is packed full of Vietnam war related memorabilia. Thanks very much everyone.

Very well informed Museum especially if you are interested in War information. I honestly thought our two little ones would get board but they both enjoyed it as much as their dad. The staff even let them have a photo in the chopper

What a great museum. We gave ourselves 2 and 1/2 hours to go through it and it was not enough. Allow 3 and 1/2 to 4 hours if you want to cover all of the exhibits in detail.

Absolutely fantastic, very informative, starting at the video hologram presentation, very clear and easy to understand, it tells the whole story from start to finish. Then to browse all the displays realy great. Highly recommend for all walks of life.
