Nando's Lysterfield

Be sure to wear a snow outfit when dining in. It’s 9 degrees outside and they have the air conditioning pumped to blizzard mode.
I asked 3 times for them to lower it and was ignored. Real shame coz the food isn’t bad.
However will never come back there

Very efficient as we order on the app and food is always hot even when we pick up and take home.

Ordered from here the “grilled peri peri” says it all, definitely unprofessional as I have ordered from Dandenong plaza nandos with a nicely marinated broccoli, surprised this branch is still in operation. Get it together guys, extremely disappointed.

Food is good, but waiting times are the worse, been there several times and I think either they don’t have enough staff or enough equipment to serve it fast. At least allow 30 minutes for a portion of fries. This is not the only bad experience I had here, 9 out of 10 times there’s something. Once I ordered a simple kids meal and took about 45 minutes and I had to ask for a refund. That was years ago and still they have “some” issues

Got a delivery from this place today, the Chicken was so burnt I could use the charcoal to brush my teeth. Worst nandos experience.

I ordered an avocado burger and they forgot the avocado.and the tomato.and the relish. No one picked up my call to complain. I called customer service and left a message. I haven't got follow up yet. Besides have of my burger missing, the peri peri chips were very good.

Nandos Lysterfield used to be so good. The last few times, over as many months, has been terrible. Since when has a whole chook come with 3 thigh pieces? This keeps happening. Where are the chicken breast pieces? The chicken is dry, and very small, more bones than chicken. Have loved Nandos Lysterfield for years, sadly no more.

I love nandos. It's reasonably priced good food. Usually the service is really good and the staff is very friendly. But this last time we went one of the staff was quite rude to us. The restrictions had been implemented that very day and he told us off for sitting at a table. I completely understand that he was doing his job but he could have asked us to do the same without being so rude, especially since we apologised as soon as we realised our mistake. I wish I had gotten his name because we go here alot and all of the other staff is really really nice. But this bearded gentleman was quite unpleasant.

This store refuses to accept cash. Businesses that don’t accept Australian legal tender are inconveniencing their customers. Change this!

Was served by a lovely waiter by the name of D. Having dietary requirements she was really understanding and was patient through organising my meal, even under the stress of a Friday night rush.
Food was great here as always.

Newly renovated venue (since my last visit)
Our food was fresh and came out very quickly! The service was very friendly, the male who waited our table treated us like we were in a fine dining restaurant. It was a pleasant experience and we’ll defiantly be back when in the area!:)

The service here is great and the meal came very fast. This store has large with a great ambience and is clean. 5 Nandos stores have closed near me in the last few years Bayswater, Upper Gully, Knox, Boronia, Ringwood now I have to travel far for Nando’s so get out and support your Nandos store!

Joke operation. Ordered online and ended up calling to find out why my food was so late. Turns out they had turned away the delivery driver saying I had made a mistake and had not ordered. Had to tell them my order number before they would accept it was their fault. Said they would cook it straight away and throw in extra food. Told them this would be a waste as we didn't need anything extra. Anyways, food still not arrived so I check the order and it's been cancelled by the delivery company.nandos blamed me for cancelling yet I ordered through their site so it wasn't my call. Now I have no food, have been charged for it and can't ring to complain cause nandos don't have phones any more. Absolute debacle. EXPECT A HUUUUUUGE COMPLAINT TO HEAD OFFICE. Wish I could give zero stars as one star is too many.
Update- ended up going to the store 2 hours after initial order. Spoke to a girl who said it 'wasn't her problem'. Then waited for a guy who appeared to be in charge, mind you, was more important to keep cooking then actually help me. He then tells me I should chase doordash for a refund.ummm, I order through the nandos app, not doordash.
Apparently doordash have this almighty power to cancel orders which have zero to do with them.

We have bought takeaway and ordered catered packs from this outlet on a number of occasions. The staff have been very helpful and obliging and the food has been consistently good.

Nando's Lysterfield is a very busy place, for a good reason - they serve consistently excellent food. This Nando's store was one of our go-to places for takeaway during Covid-19 lockdowns. Staff are friendly and their service is quick and professional. Nando's chicken and is one of a few things my toddler never refuses to eat, along with their spicy rice. Thank you Nando's Lysterfield for years of excellent food and service!

Very poor value on my ‘power up bowl’ with chicken. This is not a bowl this is a mini box. Oily salad. Tiny portion and when people are looking for value for money after our long Covid lockdown this won’t cut it! Don’t get this meal it’s just not worth it at $23
I’m a South African expat and this makes the real nandos look really bad. I’ll probably find another nandos. Going elsewhere now to look for something else that will actually fill me up.

Disgusting customer service. Was ignored for several minutes without even an acknowledgement that I existed. To have heard a "just be a second" or "will be right there" would have made all the difference. I understand that they might be busy but that doesn't mean that I should be completely ignored. Live locally but will never return
