Nando's Bourke Place

My visit to Nandos at Brouke Place was incredibly disappointing. Despite being a loyal customer, the customer service was a solid 0/10. The staff exhibited unprecedented rudeness, arrogance, and lack of politeness.

Served my friend chicken when she ordered a vegertarian option and didn’t have any glasses for water so we were drinking out of a jug

One of the staff (female/indian) so rude. She yell at me infront of all.bad attitude. No manners. How come she can work as customer service at restaurant.

Bro got a sore tummy, never get a bad tummy. Enthusiastic about eating food off the ground and hard core chilli never get a bad tummy bruh. How do u mess up broccoli like this ordered the spicy broccoli. Was good broccoli. What u put in this broccoli to make my tummy sore. Evil geniuses.

Nice food and customer service, always super busy at lunchtime, better to use the app to order.

The Peri chicken, sweet potato and garden salad, all were good. Just the chicken sauce was salty so I removed the skin.
But all in all the food was good and recommended.

Found ordering online at your table not for us as had too many questions. If you know the menu well or always have the same thing then no doubt this style of ordering will suit. Staff at counter pleasant and helpful. Very busy place at dinner time. Chips with peri peri ok. Coleslaw completely over dressed not a pleasant texture or taste. Chicken wrap was tasty as was chicken burger. Custard tart perfect size to finish.

We tried Veggie Burgers last weekend. Was not really impressed with the food. The burgers were really cold.

Lovely team @ Bourke street, great service & great atmosphere vibes. Also it’s opposite to virgin active, so you know when you eat to much or to less, no stresss. Just cross the road & hit the gymo!

Worst food and service one can ever get. They served burnt paella and the pita i order was made so poorly. Staff was so rude and was unhappy to serve. If the staff is unwilling to serve I think you shouldn’t be open untill late rather than making faces. Highly unrecommended.

Amazing service every time! The girls working the counter are always super helpful and friendly. (Sorry didn't catch your names!) Even the manager (or owner?) in casual clothes is always hands-on and supporting his staff, which is a pleasure to witness.

Once we ordered via the App about an hour before closing. It just so happened that they completely ran out of chicken that night. One of the girls actually bothered to call and let us know of the approximate wait time in advance, which was considerate. By the time we arrived to collect, we could see that it was crazy busy. The manager/owner was single-handedly working an entire grill filled to the brim with chicken, and everyone else was churning our orders as quickly as they could, and with smiles too! Mind you, it was already near closing time. Lots of other places would have cancelled orders and given up. Extra brownie points for that!

Looking forward to many more visits in the future.:)

I am regular customer at this place, it was fav place. But today when I went there. I ordered peri peri chicken rice and fries, I went there with my friend.
There was something wrong with food today. When they brought rice it looked like oven heated. Fries was over cooked. I had a feeling then but we ignored and ate, but now me and my we both got sick. We both are vomiting, I don’t know what’s wrong. But seriously not happy this time.

So many other nandos have closed down so I tried this one. It’s easy to find from the street and at a good walking distance from southern cross and flagstaff. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating (cover provided). There’s not much space between the tables inside so it can get a bit crowded to move around if there’s a lot of people. Order via QR code available, waiting time was okay, wasn’t too busy when I went. Food is what you’d expect for nandos recipe.

Just beware that there is a step down right in front of the door once you enter, the lighting is not very strong so it’s easy to miss. From where I sat I noticed a few people almost loosing their balance on that step.

Very good experience. Food was fresh, came out within reasonable time, and staff were friendly.

This place is a mess. No clean tables, none of the staff seem to care. Really awful to sit in.

They have a great outdoor area in the city while under shade. Easy access through the front, the cashier was very friendly and had a great attitude and my Chicken Paella was mildly hot and delicious.
Please make sure the bathroom is cleaned more frequently.

Very bad experience overall. Chicken was very dry, tuff and with fibre. I am very found of Nando' Chicken and enjoying it since ages but this is first time I'm disappointed. Sauce bottles neck were very dry & dirty.

Tables were dirty with plates of half eaten food and little bits of chicken bone on the seats. When politely asked to clear the table, made us feel like we’ve just asked for something ludicrous. There was no cutlery and had to ask 3x from 2 different staff and this is before I’ve reviewed the food!

Chicken was dry, gave me the wrong size of fries and heavily over seasoned on top and completely under seasoned underneath the thick layer of salt. There was absolutely no sauce in the burger and the drinks were lukewarm. I honestly cannot think of a worse experience at a restaurant. We paid over 40 bucks for a burger, and a few bits of dried out chicken. Grand scheme of things, 40 dollars isn’t a lot for 2 people but I would not come back to eat if they paid me 40 bucks.

Haven't been to Nandos in awhile. Walked up here and decided to dine in, when placing order at the counter, the person taking the order was not attentive, had to repeat my order why she writes it down.don't you guys key in on the pos system and the order goes to the kitchen or something? Portion size and description of dish is unreal. Price is getting pricier too.
