N Lee Bakery Cafe reviews
46Good spot to visit for a quick lunch. Don't worry if there is a line it does move fast. The Viet pork rolls are super tasty. Coffee is good too. I have been here a few times now when i'm in the city for lunch. Have even taken a few work colleagues here too.
Bacon, egg and cheese roll is on point! Hard to beat when you need to kick off the day. Coffee isn't the best, but hey, the rolls are legit.
Bahn mi that’s tastes like Vietnam. The food is fresh. Knocked off 1 star because it’s hard to get understood by the staff and there is no ambiance. It’s more of a take out place. Would go back.
I've been coming back for 5 years. Incredible food and some of the best Vietnamese rolls I've had in Melbourne. Buns are freshly baked and still hot when you order at lunch. Friendly staff
I love the meatloaf banhmi here, wish there was a double pate option to make it even more savoury
This is my favourite Bahn Mi place in the CBD. The bread is freshly baked at the premises and really makes the rolls. The place always has a really long line, but even at its peak you would be waiting around for about 10 mins. They are certainly a well-oiled machine and get things done super efficiently. Not a huge fan of their sweets but their rolls, schnitzels and spring rolls are outstanding. Great place if you want to spend around $10 for lunch
Yum! Great banh mis! Fresh and stuffed with lots of fillings. One of the best I’ve had in Melbourne.
Best Bahn Mi in Melbourne! Best to come in the mornings when the bread is still fresh and warm!
The banh mi is just as authentic as being in Vietnam. I definitely recommend the meatball banh mi.
Best Vietnamese rolls i've had. Ended up having two crispy pork and crackling $9.5 and BBQ pork. Tasty Vietnamese iced coffee too
My go to for the authentic Vietnamese Banh Mi!
Full of flavours, very tasty, using lots of fresh ingredients.
Service is prompt and staff are nice.
Price is decent as well.
Highly recommended for a to go quick bite (breakfast & lunch)
I am really not sure what’s so special about N Lee. The line was long but thankfully moved very quickly. I ordered a grilled pork roll expecting grilled pork marinated with lemongrass type grilled pork but what I got was so crappy BBQ pork. The sauce doesn’t taste like the normal Vietnamese sauce, I couldn’t even detect the pate. Nothing like the viet sandwiches I have in Richmond, footscray etc.
Had a quick breakfast roll and coffee. Both reasonable, no frills, no nonsense Vietnamese bakery. Good for a quick bite on the go. Their Bahn Mi seems a favourite - may have to go back for a quick lunch.
Great roll. Had pork crackling roll yesterday and today. Yesterday it was really crackling, today it was more like pork belly and no crackling. I will definatley go back though coz the flavours were there.
Chicken schnitzel sandwich/bahn-mi is my favorite. It’s quite convenient as a lot of staff are there to attend and they get the food ready in a few minutes.
Still very reasonable price for coffee for Melbourne, our go to bakery for morning breakfast or a rush pick up on the way to work, friendly staff
Great coffee, friendly staff, and fast service. The rolls are baked fresh on premise, and the staff are very efficient. Queues at lunch time usually go out the door, so better to come slightly earlier or later than standard lunch time. Also not too many seats inside, so it's more of a take-away cafe.
Excellent fresh tofu Vietnamese roll (Banh Mi) and nice soy coffee. It's a poorly kept secret though. The line is always out the door at lunch. Fast service keeps things moving though. Expect 10 minutes from queuing to eating.
Awesome place for a great Banh Mi. Line can get long but staff are quick so you don't end up waiting too long. I go here for lunch multiple times a week. Top notch.
