N Lee Bakery Cafe reviews
46I had the tofu banh mi - it was pretty decent. Nice bread roll, very fresh ingredients. It's very pricey however at 11 dollars. Probably considering it's the city and they're paying higher overheads and rent. You get really better tasting and cheaper banh mi in Footscray and Sunshine, however.
The tofu banh mi was delicious. There was a queue when we got there around 1 but it moved pretty quickly. The baguette was very fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The tofu was marinated and very tasty. The pickled vegetables and chili paired beautifully with it. Definitely worth queuing up for.
Me and friend had the crispy roast pork banh mih with crackling, it was good. Bread was alright, could have been little bit crispier otherwise it's all good. Bit expensive than other places though
Love it! Awesome tasting crispy pork banh mi. The bread roles are fresh az. Delish-az quality foods overall! Staff are super efficient and friendly.
The most delicious pork roll i’ve eaten.very flavoursome and fresh, just the best.highly recommend!
BBQ chicken Bahn Mi - popped in at 3pm and the ingredients where still fresh and delicious. Messy to eat but worth it. Great balance of texture and flavors!
Delicious food, fresh ingredients! Quick serve time and was overall a good experience, glad i went here on my melbourne trip
Fantastic Top Banh Mi Joint in town.
They bake their own bread and the Pork Belly is remarkable
The banh mi was really good, pie has great crust too.
I love the tastes because it has a lot of spice
Donut was just ok
No wait on a weekday brunch
They have a 10 bucks breakfast deal with drink too
Great coffee, great food!
Highly recommend this place, everything is fresh & Customer service is fantastic Will be returning
I had most expensive $10 Vietnamese ham roll. And $10minimum credit card is such old fashion. If you really wanna visit here don’t forget to bring cash: (
Also, I have been to South Melbourne and Collingwood stores many times, they are all different prices but they never cost $10 for ham roll, it’s usually $8 - $8.5. (Collingwood one could be cheaper.)
Nothing special about here anymore.
I would get a $10 bowl of noodle from the shop nearby. I won’t come back.
Avoid this dishonest shop.
The king of bahn-mi - if you're patient enough to wait in the quick moving queue you'll be treated to the perfect split baguette laden with your filling of choice, crunchy salad, Vietnamese pate and of course the extra fresh chilli if you want it. The flavour explosion is worth the messiness that's inevitable - try the lean chicken, it's something else!
Very glad to see the bakery still kicking on after covid. Happy to provide 5 stars, but also please ignore my review as the line is already long some days!
Good service and food is tasty. Food to go is the best option for those who like to linger (10 customers instore at a time) I found myself counting heads while I was eating (my own fault, staff and other customers didn't give out any negative vibes)
Very disappointed with the stale bread received a few ming ago in banh mi. Looks like the bread is old and from fridge.went in for lunch yest for the same banmi, it was very tasty and now for brekkie its stale.
Dont open if u are going to serve old food.
Best banh mi and spring rolls. Good selection of drinks. Very efficient staff. Yum, so glad it’s open.
I’m so depressed and my psychologist prescribed me 1x grilled pork roll w chilli. Now I’m cured
Great food but I was charged $6.10 for an iced coffee which was basically all ice. A little annoying paying the price of two coffees for a block of ice.
The best banh mi in Melbourne, no contest. Incredibly fresh ingredients and a perfect balance. Cash only.
