Mythos Gyros Bar

Rudest staff. People standing around chatting like friends, apparently this a line and we should know that on arrival. Worst attitude and service. Won’t try the food based off the experience. We’re local and won’t be recommending.

Popped in with my girls for a Thursday lunch. We sat inside at a table at the back.wanted privacy and we had great service from
The young waitress. Food was served so fast after ordering.
My daughter and I had a lamb and chicken open gyro platter with extra pita bread. Just delicious.
My wife had a huge tasty vegetarian burger.
Meals were served chips and side dips, including a very tasty aioli.
So we had a wonderful experience and a great lunch and we shall be back

Incredible, felt like a little piece of greece in australia. Value for money (we had to take home half of our food) super tasty and great service! We will be back

The food and service was excellent. The AFL Grand Final was on the TV, so it was good to watch while enjoying coffee and cake

Really busy for a Sunday afternoon. The skewered meat was moist and tender, with a great chargrill flavour. The gyros was packed to the brim. The grilled octopus was the only let down - served lukewarm and mushy. Get just the meat skewers and it'd easily be 5-stars.

Service was great, if you don’t make a booking you might get seated outdoors if the location directly across is full. The food was delicious, good portions and well priced. It felt like we weren’t in Melbourne and instead in Greece. Would eat again.

I should have written this back in July. We did a very large order for a family event we had at home. I was really pleased with how staff helped me plan a variety of food to feed the group and keep everyone happy. Food was delicious. Thanks for doing the cooking to make our family event easy!

Best food in whole of Oakleigh and has the best customer service. I recommend everyone to visit this place.

Why go to Mythos, when it's here on your door step. The food was well served up. Right amount of seasoning/flavours. Well cooked and prepared. We ordered the Gyros open plate. Went home extremely full. Even our little son loved it. Looking forward to our next visit. Hopefully they are consistent unlike others around them. Job well done!

Always thought Mythos felt like the new kid on the block, but no longer. Customer service is good, food is consistent. Meat can be a little chewy/dry but it’s well seasoned and you can definitely have a good night out here.

Used to be better, think inside staff diidnt care. Very disappointing.ordered open gyro plate.looked rushed with little portions. Greek salad portion accompanied looked tiny. Other souvlaki bars had better experience.

Great place, fantastic food, staff is so friendly. Can't describe how good this place is and how full I was! I couldn't stop eating, it was too delicious! Careful, this platter for two is actually more suitable for 3-4. Don't got to Oakleigh, this place destroys them alll and does it with a smile!

Went here last night, and this place was amazing. The food was so good, and the service was great. The service was fast, and the staff were extremely attentive, considering the large amount of customers in attendance.

MOST AMAZING GYROS EVER! The meat is seasoned and flavoured well, the pita bread that was wrapped around was soft and such a delicious bread! Although it’s a bit far away it’s so worth it! 100% recommend, the lemon lime bitters is so good, with the best flavours melting in your mouth.my first time coming here, and definitely won’t be my last.this greek restaurant doesn’t disappoint, will definitely be coming again

Not bad. Gyros platters on offer are okay, the Indoor seating is constricted, and kitchen noise tends to diminish dining experience.

When you're craving some exceptional Gyros and you're bouncing about Oakleigh, make sure you give Mythos Gyros Bar a go. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the speed at which the food arrives is on point.

Unfortunately due to the actual delicious-ness I forgot to take any pictures before it was all gobbled up! I'll have to come back again to eat again and maybe even snap a picture next time!

After eating at Mythos a few times now, the zucchini fries are a hit but l expected greek/Mediterranean flavours on my chicken skewers, instead they were covered in curry powder? The flavours were confusing and wrong when it comes to greek cuisine. And the customer service is definitely they can work on.

This place use to be really nice when it first opened.

Average food quality and even worse customer service. Staff are in too much of a rush to get customers to order.
Nobody likes feeling rushed (so stop pushing people every few minutes).
It’s annoying.

Quality and taste of food are not great.
Overpriced for what you are now given.
Unfortunately has gone downhill.

Will not be coming back here again.
