Myer Bendigo reviews
56Dealt with an extremely arrogant and uppity elderly red headed woman worker today. Continuously followed me aisle to aisle, section to section. I even tested it multiple times to make sure I wasn't imagining it. I ended up confronting her about it, she kept ignoring me and "cleaned" up parts of the shelves. I said you can check my bags if there's an issue, further ignored me. Ended up putting all the items I was going to buy back due to her lack of respect. I am autistic and making eye contact is hard, so I am unsure if that made me appear sketchy. But she was so rude. Would never shop here again.
Great staff and a pretty good range. Still disappointed that the Myers Group doesn't revamp it's original store and brag about it!
For nostalgia, it is good. Used to go here a lot 40 years ago but too expensive for names with the same products in Target without the name and 1/5 the price. Department stores are a little dated.
Consistently the most helpful staff everytime I shop there. Nothing is ever too difficult to help with. Always smile, look calm and professional.always clean and stylish store.always enjoy shopping there.
People in the toy section are really helpful, think their names were Gail and Amanda, thanks for your help!
Store is really old and needs a revamp but has everything you need and staff seem happy to help out.
Fantastic shopping experience. The staff there were lovely, friendly, interactive and professional.
Great place if you want expensive designer clothes and homeware, they do have afterpay with a minimum of $100
The staff are so very helpful and friendly. The items I wanted weren't in store, they organised to get them delivered to me. Delivered within 4 days from Melbourne.
Turns out the display toilets are just for display, they really need to add a sign that says that
The staff seem to follow you around and can make you feel uncomfortable, customer service is great. But personal space whilst shopping can be quite nice also. It was almost like I was being treated as suspicious even though I purchase from here fairly often. Really turned me off coming back, and Ballarat is quite the trip just for myers
Very happy with my purchase.l'd had my eye on a
garment for a while and was lucky enough to pick it up for 1/2 price
I was extremely happy with my recent experience at Myer Bendigo. I had been searching for a larger size in an origami flower girl dress due to my wedding being postponed last year to this year, and Bendigo was the only store that had one item showing. Heidi and Valerie demonstrated great professionalism and customer service whereby they ensured that this dress was available, in good condition and posted out to me. In addition to this, I purchased the original size over 12 months ago and during this time, it was on sale. However, Heidi acknowledged the impact of COVID on my original wedding day; and without me even asking (as I was happy to pay the full price and not the price that I had a credit note for), Heidi processed the dress at the price that I originally paid and charged no extra cost for postage; and compassionately stated that I can put the extra money towards my wedding.
I was in awe and could not believe the wonderful customer service that I was lucky to receive. I’ve had varying experiences at Myer but I have to say, this was the best so far.
Thank you so much, Heidi and Valerie. Despite the fact that securing a flower dress that I’ve always loved may seem like a small thing; it has made my whole year, and has made the process leading up to the wedding much more smooth sailing.
Thank you!
Worn out and needs renovating. Lighting bad, staff offhand. Has the feel of a second hand shop. I was embarrassed as Myer was once a great department store. Now it's an insult to its customers.
Staff is very friendly, curtious and helpful. Great experience shopping at the very first Myer store.
Unfortunately Myer Bendigo has suffered as a result of covid and also the environment of Hargreaves Street Mall.
Sadly the Pall Mall facade is a disgrace and something Myer should be ashamed of - the first Myer emporium in Australia.
Worn out building, worn out fittings, no christmas stuff, just a failed shadow of its greatness
I am Christmas shopping at myers this year. They are fantastic. Old school service and they even deliver gifts within australia out for u for free. Quality of gifts are top of the range. Myers bendigo needs our support now more than ever. I made it a point to shop with them this Christmas. We will go to the myers Christmas window display in Melbourne soon.
Not a bad store, but a limited range. Best for clothes, whereas the kitchen area has a very small range. The staff are very helpful and it still has a great country vibe.
I have had a wonderful hour today at Myer
Went to click and collect,
The gentleman was so helpful,
He then escorted me to the 2nd
Floor and introduced me to a most delightful young lady who
Helped me choose cards and wrapping paper can't thank them
