I have bought multiple items on Monday 23/10/2023 and i came back to return the items within 2 hours with receipt as per T&C applicable. I have asked team member in embroidery area name Hiraka and she directed me to the lady named Rebecca as she could not speak english, i asked Rebecca to change my items firstly she refused and then she rudely suggested me to last i am going to do it and asked me to leave the store. Worst experience at MUJI.never coming back and i will report them to consumer affair vic.

I LOVE this shop! So relaxing with fabulous 100% cotton or linen clothing in basic designs for everyday wear Their socks are 86% cotton - fabulous & their bras which they unfortunately no longer produce were aswell. The stationery is cleverly designed with refills, the crockery great. The infusers work well and their range fo scents wonderful. I accidentally passed 3hours here one weekend, looking at the books aswell.

I need to give a negative star to one of the staff names Vy in Muji Chadstone. Unfortunately, reviews don’t have a negative star, so disappointed… Vy presents such terrible customer service and makes me won’t come back to Muji again… I bought a product that shows 50% off. But, she didn’t check and charged me the full price for it. I asked her again for the price after I paid. She said it was discounted but with a very rude attitude and played a customer like a fool. Apparently, their system doesn't have updated prices and applies the discount automatically, I asked another staff Emma who helps me to get the 50% off and refund. If you buy goods in Muji, please be careful when you check out!

Wife bought a pair of indoor slippers for $8 and absolutely love them. Very interesting shop but with good cheap products. Will go again.

It has its own vibe. The kind you get from doing meditation and yoga. Nice clothes and interesting accessories. Highly recommend to visit.

1 Star for Muji Chadstone's Appalling Customer Service - store made it difficult to return faulty product

It pains me to leave a negative review for Muji but my recent experience of abysmal customer service at Muji Chadstone when attempting to exchange a faulty Muji item has forced my hand.

For context, I am a big Muji fan and a long term repeat customer of their usually high quality innovative products and great range.

My 1 star review relates to my recent purchase of a Muji acrylic display unit with sliding doors. What was the problem? The sliding doors were too short for the display case and on sliding open slightly they kept falling out.

So I went to the store to show them the problem and before I could explain, the Muji staff member interrupted me to say that a display unit is only for display not storage, hence the case was not meant to hold anything inside.

I then demonstrated the problem with the sliding doors which fell onto the counter on opening.

The staff member left to consult with management for 10 minutes and returned to say yes the doors are faulty, they are not meant to fall out and offered an exchange.

I said great, would you please open the packaging to check that the doors of the replacement case are working before I purchase it.

The staff member flatly refused to do this saying that the packaging could not be opened until after the purchase was complete.

So I purchased the replacement case and the staff member still refused to check the case was in working order citing Muji Ts&Cs that once opened, it would be difficult to return. To which I responded, if this one is faulty too, I will be returning this one as well. The staff member unbelievably reminded me again that a display case is not meant to be used for storage (what the what?) and then added that it should not be washed with water (what the what?)

As such, I then had to open the packaging myself at the counter before leaving the store. Thankfully it was not faulty but what a terrible experience - there was no apology and no acknowledgement of the inconvenience to the customer. Muji management needs to take a long hard look at itself- such arrogant defensive behaviour is bad for business, bad for customers, bad for staff, bad for everyone - there are no winners here.

In fact 1 star is too many, Google needs to introduce a half star rating and Muji needs to lift its game especially in the current economic climate with soaring cost of living pressures.

Warning to Muji customers: Beware of Muji's after sales service!

I like the Muji store so much but I am very disappointed with the poor customer service from the manager Rebecca. She needs to be acquire patience with the customers and needs to learn how to provide a quality service I am very surprised that she is a store manager, she is completely unprofessional, and besides, a big manipulator, and in my opinion if you have an accent, you won't get proper service from her. Disgusting behaviour.

I only come here to stand in the diffuser section taking in all the smells and getting transcended into another dimension with the music. It's a such a chill vibe. 5 stars

Writing this as the workers Rebecca and Kim (23/12/22,10PM) were friendly and patient with my large orders of porcelain. They were kind and kept professional and friendly despite how busy it was.

I love the vibe at the shop. They always play relaxing and chill music and everything was well-organised and super clean. I love their Minimalistic designs and a practical range of products. They offer fantastic durable home goods, good quality furniture, clothes, books, and even cosmetic products. Bed sheets and linens are nice, as well as some of their electronics such as humidifiers.
One of my favourites is their bean bags. I do not want to get up once I sit on them as they are extremely comfortable.

Products ranges from stationary to furniture, clothes to books and snacks. MUJI chadstone is the largest MUJI store in Australia!
Worth a visit!

Good quality stuff, a bit expensive though but worth it.

Quite expensive I think, but that is the only complain. The pen and note from them is one of the nicest I have use. The store neat and the staff is helpful.

Love the new store. Very spacious and modern. It has something for everyone. Nice bedding at a great price. You don't often see linen so cheap. Really nice staff too.

Went here to get stationary.was served by a Asian lady. Went to pay and overheard the girl serving me talk to another co worker about me. Accusing me of swapping something. Its plain rude to talk about a costumer in front of their face. Whispering to the other co worker idk but i thinks she swapped the pens.she asked me questioned like i was stealing.i got $1.50 girl i can pay for these pens. Dont accuse me of stealing/swapping something out. Rude

The store is stylish and spacious.l bought wooden trays. Each tray was wrapped for protection. They sell nice dining tables and chairs but they are too low for Australians unfortunately.
