Mr West was one of the first new age businesses I didn’t realise I needed. Usually I’m a bit of a wine lover and their range is amazing. BUT these guys also have THE BEST espresso martini on tap I have ever tasted. Normally if see ‘on tap’ and go for a miss. But I purchased a goon sac of this special elixir last Christmas holidays and it made my year. A definite fave

Nice fitout, great beer and whisky selection. Quality of venues in Footscray is up there these days! Bottleshop on the ground floor and has a large seating area with a smoking area upstairs. Big beer selection on tap. Noticed a lot of local Aussie whiskies on the back shelf as well, seemed like a decent general selection of whisky compared to most places.

Regular rotation of taps with enough to have a good variation of beers at any time. Also have negroni on tap.
The downstairs bottleshop has a good selection with 4 double fridges; wine and an increasing selection of spirits - probably the best mezcal selection by far in the area.
Currently has outdoor seating as well. No full food options but all the takeaways locally will deliver and can have any other food delivered.

I've been here multiple times & it has never failed my expectations of this bar. It's such a fun & great environment to be in. The cocktails are fantastic & the bartenders are very friendly, professional & are lovely people to speak to while they make your drinks. One of the best bars in Footscray

Craft beer, good wine, better spirits and great cocktails are the big draws here. The crew here focus on friendliness and passion which ripples throughout, from the guns on the taps to the lads in the wine shop. Behind the long bar there's a huge wall of 26 rotating taps to keep your attention piqued. And the bomb here is you can bring food there is a pizza shop right underneath and you can order from them and bring it up. Only other places I have seen do that are like 2 plane rides away. But in food heaven Footscray? Its the bomb in my backyard thanks boys for the awesome service …

Nice bar, very chill and nice selection of drinks. Slice pizza across the road delivers to your table.

Fun interesting bar in the middle of Footscray. Everything was good but could do with some food.

You like to have a huge selection of unknown quirky named beers, with a trendy urban vibe and technologically advanced mobile ordering at your table, plus throw in some tattoos and beards, and you get Mr West Bar & Bottle Shop.lucky i brought my man bag so i felt like i totally fit in.

Mr West remains one of the best drinking venues in Footscray, with a vast selection of boutique wines and beers in the bottle shop (which you can drink on premises) and a wonderfully curated selection of craft beers on tap. Great staff and a lively location, highly recommend.

No food served late at night but there are plenty of food places close by. These guys allow you to BYO food.
The beer selection is pretty impressive.

My favourite bar in Melbourne. Completely unpretentious with a superb store downstairs and bar upstairs with negoronis and espresso martini’s on tap, excellent cocktails and an amazing array of craft beers

My very favourite bottle shop in Melbourne. They have an insane surcharge for drinking in (downstairs) but offer discounts when you buy more than 6 beers at a time so I guess it's alright? The selection is well worth it, so I'll let it slide. Otherwise, wait til evening and go upstairs to drink on tap minus the charge. In addition to beer, this spot has a great natty selection (and lets you BYO food!) What's not to love?

Bloody best idea ever a bottle shop with all the beers in the world and I can drink them there or up at the bar bloodl no brainer if ya ask me upstairs well the beers on tap are very very impressive everything from sours to IPAs, red ales and of course my favorite the dark beers mmmmmm porters

Great layout with a huge selection of beers and spirits. The bottle shop downstairs also has a great range.

This is a top 5 Melbourne beer bar, super nice staff, cracking bar list and a solid fridge down stairs. Little for a beer lover to want for here. Settle in and smash those tasting paddles

The guys here can mix a good cocktail, wide range of whisky and bespoke brewed beer. Tuck in to a meat and cheese platter or have something more substantial delivered. Nice and airy place. Drinking indoors surrounded by plants
