Mr West Bar & Bottle Shop

One of my favourite bars in Melbourne. Super cool spot. Booze selection is awesome. Pizza from across the road is great too. Short train ride from the CBD and is well worth a trip out to.

Love the hipster vibe, love the dark chic vibe, love the super-friendly staff, love that they always have multiple strong sweet beers on tap, love the bottle shop downstairs where you can sit and sip. Most definitely a regular favourite!

So many different beers. Beerly heaven. Pizza is good too (it's from across the road). Great atmosphere!

Excellent venue for a craft beer or cocktail. So many wonderful options on tap with over a dozen pouring. The cheese with honey was great too!

Went too mr west for the first time this afternoon. Our bartender Jordan was nothing but a gentleman. There service and hospitality was second to none

I went to this place for the first time last night. The venue is dimmed creating nice atmosphere. They have a wide range of unique spirits and tap beers. Bartenders are well-versed in what they have, Josh and Peach are legends!
Only one downside of this place is too faraway from where I live lol I would go there every night if the bar was a bit closer.
I will definitely visit again soon!

List your bottle shop hrs, drove all the way there for nothing. Bar closes 1am. Bottle shop closes 11. Don't mislead people it's annoying.

Always a great place to come for a wind down beer or a night with friends.or take it home and watch a movie.

One of my favourite spots in the inner west. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Their extensive drink menu means I always find exactly what I'm looking for.

Terrific atmosphere and huge selection of a variety of drinks. Roughly 15 taps of great independent beer and fridges full of cans and bottles that will definitely include somthing you've never tried before.

The selection of the bottle shop, the cosy vibe of the upstairs bar and the amazing, friendly staff make Mr West one of my favourite places to visit!

Wow, only bottle shop part open on a Monday arvo evening but what a wicked beer choice and great service. These people know and love their beer. Sitting outside banging down a few great craft beers, some even at take away prices was an exceptional way to spend a couple of hours in the middle of Footscray with a much more village atmosphere than I expected. Would love to visit when the bar is open but have run out of time.

Both bar and bottle shop are absolutely amazing! Super friendly staff and the choices for both take away and on tap are extraordinary! They have a dogfriendly outdoors “beer garden” upstairs and really go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Great experience all around! Will definitely come back many times:)

Our on line order went astray - Dimitra was fantastic - tried to track it down and when she couldn't, she personally dropped off a replacement order so we would be sure to have it by Christmas - brilliant customer service to match their fabulous products

Nice place and good share of space with pizza shop. Down side is random people wandering by which can be a bit unsettling

Great selection of Craft Beers both in the bar and bottleshop, can get abit pricey especially if you Drink In as the prices include $4-5 corkage but your gonna enjoy almost everything on offer here. Great vibes in the bar, but if you can best to do your shopping in the bottleshop and grab what your after as takeaway to save yourself alot of dollarydoos.

Bartender hunts down a fresh pineapple at the marketplace in order to complete my drink. That shows commitment and dedication on how Mr west treats their patrons. Also can order Slices of the best pizza opposite of Mr west. Also won award for best specialised beer bar of the year

Good drinks selection, great cocktails, friendly staff, convenient NFC/QR menu and order.
And of course extra points for location and opening hours, making Footscray more lively and closer to the city.
