62Food was great. Beef Curry was very impressive. I was actually just insulted by the woman staff who I thanked kindly and warmly at the end of our meal and said the food was delicious and she looked at me coldly and looked down, completely disregarding me and I think she said something under her breath. Honestly, it felt like she was being racist or didn't like me or something. She is not doing that restuarant any favours. She also didn't bring my 4 year old plain rice when I asked almost as soon as we got there. I had to ask another staff about 20 mins later who brought it out in 2 minutes. Disappointed restaurant experience.
Omg! Soooo good. Unassuming little restaurant with the most delicious food! Super quick service and really great prices. Chop chop chicken and TFC. Couldn’t recommend more.
I had the fried chicken, duck fried rice and Mee Goreng. The fried chicken was recommended by the waitress and was delicious. I found both the fried rice and Mee Goreng bland in flavour and won't be ordering them again.
Chilli pork xiao long bao was yummy, very juicy and thin skin which held the soup well.temperature came out just right to be devoured! Wish i had ordered a beer with the taiwanese fried chicken
A cosy little cafe tucked away in a quiet street close to Melbourne Aquarium or Southern cross station. The food was tasty and very homely.
We had the Shui mai which looked different from the regular ones you get, may be this was the Taiwanese style. The entrees and the main we ordered was good too. Would recommend anyone in the city to drop in for lunch or a quiet dinner.
Glad we found this little treasure of a restaurant. Yummy food, very tasty served freshly cooked and hot. We enjoyed the dumplings and our other dishes and would definitely go back.
My interstate guests had a lovely time, the team were incredibly helpful with my mums numerous allergies and the resulting food was delicious:)
Unreal. Hands down the BEST dumplings. Special mention to the beef curry roti roll, that is now the best thing I've ever eaten. Authentic.
Food is tasty, service is friendly and efficient. But the prices are outrageous for dumplings.
Booked a table and when we arrived all tables were taken so needed to sit at the window bench, but awkward when we expected to eat together and talk.
Absolutely incredible food and service and a real gem! The lady who served me was very friendly and helped me choose a lovely Taiwanese noodle dish which I had never had before. It was so delicious. And all the other food I had there was top notch.
Pan fried pork dumplings and Xiao long bao was fantastic, other dishes I had, it was ok. For my opinion recommend for quick and easy dinner. I will definitely come back.
It’s better to make the reservation coz the restaurant was almost full when we arrived. The xiaolongbao is juicy, and chicken with fried rice tastes pretty much like Taiwanese flavor which I feel a bit home sick.
Scrumptious Taiwanese food
Another successful foodie experience in Melbourne
This small cozy restaurant is full of delicious, mouth-watering, gratifying dishes
A tucked away Taiwanese gem that featured amazing xiao long bao which were soft, delicate and filled with a delicious soup.
Extremely poor service, ordered kong po chicken and the chef forgot to put in cashew nut. They did not apologise nor making any amendments, making customer eat a poorly cooked food, and take that for granted right
The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and you can watch the world walk pass at the windows counter seats. A pleasant surprise of a find and the Xiao Long Bao I reckon is one of the better ones I’d tasted in Melbourne. Highly recommend.
Wonderful little restaurant that was packed when we arrived. Had hot and sour and corn and chicken soups, Chicken chop fried rice and chicken and lemongrass pan fried dumplings. Food was so good that I ate it all and then realized I hadn't taken pics. Great quick service, friendly staff.
Amazing food I had the best prawns I ever had this place I highly recommend if you are with family
Whilst staying on this side of the city for work, I was craving dumplings and Mr HJ really hit the spot. I didn’t have a reservation but they found a seat for me. I managed to order 4 or 5 dishes (too much for one) but still devoured it all. Yum!
