Just a coffee stop today but a lovely one nonetheless. Mr Curtis is upstairs off the street and has lovely views of the bar. There are a couple of prized balcony tables that are wonderful on the right day. The cafe is pleasantly set out and functions very nicely. The service here was friendly and efficient. The coffee brew was faultless, a superb long macchiato. The menu looked interesting so we’ll be back for sure for lunch or dinner.

The four of us had lunch there on Boxing Day. We sat on the balcony and had a lovely view of Port Philip Bay, the weather was just perfect. We had a mixed range of 4 different meals and they were all great. Well worth a visit, but book ahead.

We had a function recently with friends and family at Mr Curtis. It has a great atmosphere and friendly staff who will do everything to make your evening enjoyable. Food was absolutely delicious and was substantial for our function.

A night with good friends at Mr. Curtis is always a great night out. We got the set menu which was four tapas (substantial) plus dessert and coffee for $38. Plenty of food. The meatballs were amazing! Everything was delicious. Lovely cosy warm interior on a cold winter evening.

I decided to have a last hurrah (before adhering to lockdown) at the wonderful Mr Curtis Mt Martha. On that balcony, with the sun playing on the water and the handy elevation that makes you feel like you're sitting at a cafe on the walls of Dubrovnik (never been.yet). Topped off by the gorgeous, relaxed humans that feed and serve and the food, it tastes like it does on a European holiday. Clearly I love this place and I never want to come down! Thanks and I hear you're turning 8 - I wish you infinity x Emma

Wonderful take-away and catering. We have had catering for three functions and the food has been absolutely delicious every time. The take-away food menu has also been terrific during lockdown. Thank you to the wonderful team at Mr Curtis, especially the lovely and very talented chef and also to Lyndal.

Disappointed my 18 year old granddaughter and a couple of friends were turned away their reasoning was they would not be able to afford to eat there.

Food, drinks and location are great. Shame that the owner yells at customers and blames her younger staff for things she needs to take ownership of. Really such a shame because I loved this place.

Great food. Excellent location. Feels like you're in your own lounge room, but with better views.

Mr Curtis is by far my favorite cafe on the peninsula, the coffee and food are amazing and the view really tops it all off:)

Nice vibe. Laid back and breezy. Good view of the water. Good balcony. The moroccan lamb meat balls are the best.

The location, interior decoration and the views of this place -if you get a terrace seat- are outstanding. It’s very cozy, staff is friendly and the experience gives you positive vibes.
The food is average, portions we felt were a bit small for what you pay and our toast and salad was unfortunately a bit burned/dry.
If the menu would offer a few more lunch options this would be great, for now it’s mostly breakfast items on the menu.
All in all a really positive experience though.

This place is beautiful and the views are amazing but the service was really poor to say the least, has so much potential if it was owed by someone who priotised their customer service. Took so long for our food and drinks to come and when we walked in we were told to 'sit down then', waitresses seemed half arsed and lazy! No apology from staff. Sausage roll was yum.

Lovely breakfast venue, served by smiling friendly staff, with excellent glimpses of Port Phillip Bay

One of favourite spots down this way. We love sitting up on the balcony with a glass of white and a great view. The food is great, especially their Tostadas and Mini Burgers.

Gorgeous looking place and perfect location.potential to be amazing if only the staff (well owner) was more polite and had a bit of people skills.very rude and arrogant and made me and my friends feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.very slow service, no offer of drink top ups, no apology for waiting a long time for food.sausage rolls were great but beware you have to wait a long time.

The food was delicious and so were our cocktails. Had an outside table overlooking the water, a perfect setting to catch up with family we don't often see. We were however hassled by multiple staff who kept returning every few minutes to try and clear our plates despite still eating and drinking. Our bill came to over $200 for 4 of us for lunch so we were a bit annoyed to feel pressured to scoff everything quickly. A great time despite this!

Loved this place. Relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful food. Lovely staff. Great menu. Reasonably priced. Parking close by. Lucky find for us. Will be back!

A jungle oasis by the bayside!
Despite the small kitchen, food serving was ample and delicious. Selection choice is muted, however. Drinks are reasonably priced and with a welcome stiff pour.
Enjoyable decor with evident thought put into colour scheme and design choice. Best described as lush and verdant.
Very pleasing to see recruitment and promotion of local artists for menu and wall art.

Perhaps a wider selection of portraiture rather than Mr Curtis' face may bolster the aesthetic. Mirrors may also expand the illusion of space.

4/5, would come again. Maybe next time to experience night time cocktails.

ORDERED: Salmon+Eggs, Shakshuka+Eggs, Oven Roasted Feta, Aperol Spritz

I have loved afternoon coffee here, but went for dinner the other night and was disappointed. It was so loud you couldn't talk to each other and the I left disappointed with my meal. It was a special Vietnamese menu for the evening.
