So glad we just took a punt on visiting this fantastic place. Food, service and atmosphere exactly what we enjoy. It was a quick decision on our way to Sorrento. Service from Edan topped of everything perfectly

We were told we could sit anywhere on the balcony but then someone else told us we had to sit on a different table and we were sat practically on top of another couple so we left.

A beautiful restaurant and gorgeous atmosphere. The food is delicious, however the portions were so small. We paid $96 which was supposed to feed 2 people which was a selection of 3 dishes and they were sooo small. We were still hungry and ordered some extras. For that price, I was expecting a lot more food. The pizza was quite a small slab of bread and small. Unfortunately we won't be back as the value for money is not great although it's a beautiful restaurant and the taste and quality of the food is spot on.

Thank you for such a wonderful Father's Day lunch on the balcony; everyone had a wonderful time at our old faithful, where the food and service are always consistent and do not disappoint!

Great service, food and beer. Slightly saddened that they don't offer coffee or tea. Overall a great place to visit.

Great food and cocktails and lovely atmosphere! I had dinner here the other night and it was amazing, perfect to share a few dishes between two. I'd put a note on our booking that it was a surprise birthday dinner, and the staff were super accommodating and helpful and we had a great night. Thank you!

Like a dependable old friend, this place keeps us coming back for the vibe and the conversation. Quirky and fun, grab a table out on the balcony and wrap up in the woolen blankets as you watch the sunset over the Bay. Good selection of wine and beer with an emphasis on local produce. Food is simple and hearty and works well if you like to share. Relaxed and unobtrusive service adds to the feeling of not having to hurry your time here.

Fantastic place to dine. The staff were incredible and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and having a great time. The whole venue is an absolute vibe. Food was good and plenty of great cocktails to choose from.
Can't wait to come back.

Very disappointed - I’m not normally a negative person and we have been to Mr Curtis over a dozen times, but yesterday will probably be the last time. Staff were ‘stressed out’ and the food was average. We were ‘bossed around’ by the owner and asked to pass food and cocktails down the table to another group which was ridiculous.
Not to mention the magpies who were scavenging food from plates where patrons had left and food that wasn’t cleared. Not an enjoyable experience unfortunately.

Lovely place with a beautiful Mexican 70’s fiesta vibe.
Totally worth going there, it is very popular and busy so make sure you book. But that’s great as you know it’s good then.
Can’t wait for our next visit to Mr Curtis! Xo

This place was amazing, the lady who owned it made sure we got a table with no booking. The staff accommodated dietary requirements and the food was amazing. Wouldn’t say it has a specific casine as we had arranchi which was amazing, the top of the list was the saganaki, hands down the best the I’ve ever had.

Had a great lunch here at Mr Curtis. The food was great with so much flavour, and the staff was so attentive and lovely. Definitely coming back when I visit Melbourne again

Visited yesterday (02-10-2022) for a second time. The hostess did her absolute best to find us a table even though we didn’t have a booking! She was very kind and helpful. The food was all DELICIOUS. We were full but kept eating. Service 10/10! Every staff member was helpful and friendly.

Took the 3 course option for two of us. Plenty to choose from. Order from QR on table which is much easier and quicker. The choices were numerous but fish tacos and mini hamburgers were the best. Love the share nature of it and portions were plenty. Everything came quickly and served with a friendly smile. Drinks range good but a little $$. Great feed and view from the balcony. Thanks!

Great location, the person taking care of us was very accommodating! She mentioned to us a number of vegan options we could have and it was super yummy. Would recommend

We went here on a Saturday evening to celebrate a friend's hen's party. We had let the staff know this in advance and asked if we could have a bottle of sparking wine ready on arrival (which we would pay for of course). Unfortunately this did not happen. After being directed to our table we were instructed by a waiter to use the QR code to see the menu and order, which we did. 30 min later a passive aggressive waitress came to tell us that we should have ordered the 'feed me' menu as that is their rule for a weekend night. We were unaware of this and her attitude made us feel uncomfortable.
Regardless, we ignored this and awaited our food. It came out sporadically. Some people had finished their food before another meal even arrived. We were informed this was because we didn't pick the feed me option? !
The food was also very disappointing. It was not a large or complex menu, but the lobster rolls were bland and the bread almost stale. The fish taco tortillas were also rubbery and stale. The cocktails were good though!
The attitude of the staff continued to be rude. We certainly will not be back.
We understand Lockdown has been difficult on hospitality, so we would have overlooked the average food if the service had been pleasant. But unfortunately neither were up to scratch.

This is a perfect spot on Mt Martha for a nice breakfast, brunch or.lunch.

The food is divine. Literally each and every dish we ordered was beautiful.

The location is beauty, decor is chic and hospitality No 1. The hostess.took extra care in making Kunnu's coffee

Wonderful take-away and catering. We have had catering for three functions and the food has been absolutely delicious each time. The take-away food menu has also been terrific during lockdown. Thank you to the wonderful team at Mr Curtis, especially the lovely and very talented chef Maria and also to Lyndal.
