What an absolute delight to visit this restaurant. Simply the best and much accommodated by the server.

Really a complete satisfaction pl lace to dine with lavishly tasty butter chicken and garlic naan. Truly and much affordable in terms of pocket value. Great pleasure and surely will visit the place again sometime later. Much recommended and much preferred ️

Mouth watering food and fantastic service, the server brought the food up to our table one by one. He did not rush unlike other restaurant.
The Chef played his part well and cooked the Lamb Rogan Josh as ordered & expected (Very Tender). Even the Butter Naan was soft and delicious. The flavours were so traditional and not overly spiced. After a long time me and my partner does not have any complain about dining. Everything was just perfect!
Moti Mahal is probably the best in this location. Good to see that equal importance is given to flavoursome food with incredible customer service to boot, they accomodated well during such rush hours. Highly recommended to all.

I always visited Indian restaurants in other states of Australia but what I found over here is the best Butter Chickenwhich I could not find in any other restaurants by this date. I was really impressed. Had a fantastic dinner with other delicious dishes as well. Awesome food with great staffs. Reasonable price and good environment Indian cuisine. Thank you so much Moti Mahal for your world class excellent service. Will visit soon for especial butter chicken.

This is the first time I visited a restaurant who charges $5.5 extra for raita with $22 biryani. Biryani was absolutely okayish, you can just tell they have put shaan biryani masala to it which is minimal effort for such a price range. The owner was also quite rude to us when we asked him about the extra charges for raita. Will definitely not recommend this place to anyone as there are way better indian restaurant with BYO.

We been coming here for over 20yrs even now we live across the other side of the city. Owner Karan is a good host.

Had my brothers birthday party here. Amazing service and very friendly staff! The food was spectacular as well. Definitely recommend coming here if you like quality indian food.

Quiet and cozy place, perhaps for the hour, impeccable service, my favorite dish Paneer, it was excellent, smooth and delightful.

The food was delicious. Every dish had its own taste unlike other Indian restaurants. The service and hospitality was beyond expectation. The kids loved the food and thank you for the chocolates.
We will be back again.

Drove past this place and saw byo and decided to give it a go. It was quite when we went it but this was an advantage because the service was then great taking our order quickly and bringing food quickly. The chicken 65 was amazing and will be going back just for this. Butter chicken was a really good one and the garlic naan was incredibly soft. Will Def go back here when I want easy and tasty Indian.

Poor experience and customer service, rude owners.

I ordered the "$40 meal for two" over the phone as per the online menu. When picking up the food the owners argued saying that it costs $45, and that the online menu is old. This is despite the fact that i showed them the online menu on my phone. Its upsetting having to argue over price for a simple take-away meal.

Don’t go to this restaurant ever. I used to work here. Owner always speaks in rude as well as his wife. They both are using Indian students and paying $8 per hour. Also, they deduct money by making excuses like you didn’t work properly.

I used to work there in kitchen and chef was always abusing to me that you don’t know what’s chicken called or meat as I was vegetarian. He always speaks in abusive language and shout on us.

They only pay $80 for full day. You start work at 5 PM and finish it at 1 or 2 AM. Husband and wife always think that we (International) students need in money so use them with no money. When we go and ask for the money on our pay day, he comes up with I don’t have any money. I will give you tomorrow and tomorrow, he gives with some deductions that you put prones outside of the fridge so it will be deducted from your wages, however we didn’t put outside (chef and his wife forget everytime)

In nutshell, this is 100000% dodgy business and owner is rude.

This is the best family place to eat Indian Food. The owner of the restaurant Mr Karam singh looks after each and every customer personally.the food quality is very good, and best among other Indian restaurant.i would highly recommend this place for the Indian food.

The manager was a cruel and angry man who would look as us with hate.

The texture of the creamy tandoori mushroom was too creamy. Why must creamy tandoori mushrooms even has so much cream.

This has been the worst experience of my life. I would not eat here if it was the last option on earth. This is terrible Indian food.

Worst food worst service. Very unhygienic. I found hair in my order. They don't even know when to use, / or. In a dish in menu they said it has paneer chilli, cauliflower chilli, mushroom chilli. But when the dish was brought it just had paneer chilli. When I asked they say that's why we put comma. I felt like teaching them true meaning of punctuation.

Zero stars to Moti Mahal Malvern. Unwelcoming and rude manager, unwilling to serve. I went with my wife for Valentine's lunch. Apparently the restaurant was quiet. Instead of entertaining us and taking order, he kept on fighting with his cleaner on phone. Once he came for ordrer, he asked for entire order at once and said he can't take orders again and again. Wat a hospitality.
