Mornington Coastal Medical Centre

After almost 20 year of visiting this Medical Practice, I have experienced a very unpleasant experience with an unfriendly rude new young Receptionist. She verbally attacked me with no consideration on my age (60yo). While waiting for my flu shot, the receptionist glared at me and said “Why are you looking at me and rolling your eyes” I was just sitting there looking in her direction. I was very shocked, upset and confused. She then asked me to leave. I wrote a letter of review to the clinic and as I result I received a registered letter from the practice manager Elizabeth (no surname attached,) informing me that they no longer wish to provide medical services to me. I consider this disgusting attitude based on one persons reaction.
Looks like the friendly culture of the practice drastically changed to the worse.
No apology from the practice. No respect to older people and no thanks to loyalty. I have a mental breakdown and panic attacks as result of this assault.
Not recommend this medical centre to anyone.

Admin staff as a front heavy military with their rudeness, disrespect and can attack anyone because of way how you look, rolling eyes without consideration of age or illness and loyalties. And if you complain they will turn around against and band you from doctors’ service under very private and confidential stamp.

I've been going there for around 20 years and I think they are great, very nice people. I won't see any other dr except mine. I have epilepsy so I need great dr's and this is where they are.

Dr Fiona Maughan, again performing miracles with her kind heart and her compassion. For 76 years, my mum would not have any standard, routine checks. One visit with Fiona may very nearly safe her life.
How can I thank you? You are a wonderful human.

The reception staff are the best! I recently had an emergency move from home to nursing home which needed to happen in 24 hours for my in-laws and Rebecca at the reception made this happen! A superstar. Made the process so easy. Also thank you to all the staff that assisted. Great team.

Highly recommend Dr Porter! He’s always provided such amazing care to our baby and supported my husband and I as first time parents. I’ve always felt listened to, reassured and never rushed.

So blessed to have Dr David Curtis as my my gp (about 25 years now). The good docs are really hard to find. Dr David is a jewel! A rare gem

I have been a patient at this practice for many years and have always found the staff very welcoming and helpful. Dr David Curtis is a wonderful Dr who goes above and beyond to build a special rapport with his patients and his care is greatly appreciated by my family.

Visit was for a vaccine and the Nurse who administered these to us (my wife and I) was very friendly, efficient and helpful.

I love this medical centre.staff are always so nice, always efficient and courteous and there is a chemist conveniently located in the same building. David Curtis is also the best doctor I have ever met.

Had "possible" symptoms of a heart attack on a Friday without a chance of seeing a doctor. Referred to nurse Julie suggested I call an ambulance forthwith. Ambulance arrived almost before I hung up. They had all my details from Mornington Coastal (MC) and from 000. Ambo's advised MC of my condition and an appointment arranged with two doctors including my normal doctor and a blood test. You can't beat perfection!

Great medical clinic! The reception staff are very helpful and the doctors that my family have used have all been professional, warm and generous with their time.

This is a fantastic Clinic. The doctors are caring and really listen to you. The Reception staff deserve a huge thank you, they are always busy and multi-tasking but always have a smile.
