Moorooduc Estate reviews
30Had a pleasure testing their wines over Easter weekend. Forget all the famous wineries in Mornington. This is the best Pinot by far! Will be back on my next Melbourne visit.
Vineyard very nice, small in size, but LARGE by its wines. The tasting was a nice moment of sharing with our host. Everything was clearly detailed. We highly recommend this beautiful address. Coming from France, we find most Australian wines very different from ours. However, the wines of Mooroduc Estates are very qualitative / tasteful and some similar to our prestigious French estates. It's really worth taking this little part of gravel road to discover surprising wines. Special mention at THE MOOROODUC McINTYRE CHARDONNAY 2016: Just PERFECT!
Mention spécial au THE MOOROODUC McINTYRE CHARDONNAY 2016: Juste PARFAIT!
Quality wine with the price tag to match. All their wines are delicious. They specialise in pinot noir and chardonnay. Cellar door was very friendly and knowledgeable. They Charge $10 for tasting however wave this fee if you purchase a bottle of wine.
Probably the best winery in the Mornington. Can't remember our host but she had blonde hair and was from England. She made our day and was one of the best cellar door assistants we've ever came across. Purchased the currently drinking the 2015 Pinot noir and its going down a treat on a cold Melbourne night. Will definitely be back soon!
Interesting wines and a very relaxed and up beat tasting. Good times! Also a venue in the Mornington peninsula music festival.
Phenomenal. One of our favorite wineries after touring the Yarra Valley, Tasmania, and the Mornington Peninsula. Beautiful location and excellent wines. Serena in the tasting room was wonderful.
Spectacular wines - we were absolutely thrilled with our stop here. Ashley took us through our tasting and she is extremely knowledgable and enthusiastic about Moorooduc which makes for a great experience for the customer. We wished we could have purschased more wine, but the budget had been stretched very thin! We loved the Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs in particular. Probably the only winery I saw doing an on-skin Pinot Gris which was very interesting to see and they also had an exciting cool climate Shiraz available. Would highly recommend a stop here!
Terrific tasting with a lovely staff member. The shiraz is something special and the estate chardonnay was very nice
Helen is a fantastic and knowledgeable host who is passionate about wine. Looking forward to returning very soon!
Amazing wines, with lots of information about the wine making process. Make sure you are there on the weekend and buy some of the woodfired bread made onsite - but be quick they sell out fast.
