Had a lovely experience here with a group of friends this weekend and couldn't recommend it more. Leone was great too!
We were running late but they still accommodated us. The setting is also beautiful.

Among the best wineries of the Peninsula. Even the entry level wines (Pinot Noir Estate / Chardonnay Estate) are of great quality. The single vineyards go deeper in complexity - make sure to ask the friendly staff to taste the McCyntire Chardonnay and the Garden Pinot Noir, they’re amazing!

Make this your first or last vineyard when visiting the Mornington Peninsula. Amazing tasting with such wonderfully knowledgeable staff. The Pinot Gris on skins is a must have for any true wine nerd.

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia tour of Victoria, I ventured out for a day in the Mornington Peninsula, and with the 2nd stop of the day landed here, Nigel was a great friendly host that made us feel very welcome and guided me through a wine tasting, great little venue with good wine, I walked away with a 2019 Pinot Noir

Lovely hosts, ended up buying a bottle of Shiraz.

The only downside is the gravel road that leads to the winery, worth it though:)

What better way to spend a Friday then doing a wine tasting at Moorooduc. The tasting and wines were most impressive so a big thanks to Nigel for taking us through the diverse collection. Great wines were paired perfectly with big smiles

Great experience, some beautiful vines when we went, good range of wines, some you can't buy from the usual bottle stores, how could we not some bottles!

Serious quality. We made an appointment to taste here. That was handled very nicely. The young gentleman who took us through a good range of their whites and reds was extremely knowledgeable and very pleasant. We were extremely impressed with the wines and had a very enjoyable time and purchased a number of bottles. Conclusion, it’s a great place.

My partner and I got a tasting booked in on the last day before the second lockdown when all shops were about to close. They were usually shut on this day and didn't have to take our booking but fitted us in anyway.

We were the only two in the cellar door and both felt that Kate was extremely generous with her time and knowledge. It was easily the finest cellar door experience we have ever had. We'll definitely be back as we still need to try their chardonnay.

By far the best winery in Victoria. The wines are smooth and elegant and a pleasure to drink. The cellar door trumps those in around it with the service second to none. Always a pleasure visiting and drinking Mooroduc wine. Too much is not enough. A must visit for the wine connoisseurs. Thanks again. Mariah & Stuart

Moorooduc Estate winery Restaurant
My wife and i arrived at restaurant door greeted with sign at door, saying (If you haven't booked don't come in call us to make a booking.)
Where is the care factor for customers, there customer relations is obviously
NONE existent. Hate to think what they are like in the restaurant.

Go out of your way to taste their wines, a very good range and not expensive. I’ll certainly look out for their wines back in the UK. Linda, who did our tasting and was excellent, provided me with a list of UK wines merchants who sell their wines.

Had a fantastic time at Moorooduc Estate! The lady who took us through our tasting was so friendly and informative, and made the experience so memorable. In particular, she encouraged us to identify what we could taste in the wines, which was really appreciated. The wines themselves are superb, you also get to read the tasting notes which are spot on. Definitely a must visit!

Lovely selection of quality wines, well worth the ride out to sample them. And served by a lovely Yorkshire girl too!

What a fantastic entertaining and educating experience! We were served by Linda an expect in her field with 20 years of experience. Drinking first class wine by a live fire place in the hinterlands of the Mornington peninsula, need I say more. 5 stars.

Had a great day out on the Peninsula and this winery was the stand out. Really friendly and informative staff and of course the wines were great. Will definitely be returning to this winery.

Nice little place. Friendly and accommodating staff at the cellar door. They do their best to explain the different wines. They have good Pinot Noir’s.
I liked the Pinot Gris Rose that they fermented on skins which gives it a pink colour.
It’s $10 for the tasting which is free if you buy a bottle, as usual.

I'm conflicted to write this review as the wines were absolutely fantastic, I bought several for home, and the venue itself is a quintessentially charming cellar door, I'd still recommend to my friends and anyone else that a visit is worthwhile.

That said, the experience was sullied by a quite rude staff member taking us through the wines, particularly disappointing as we had specifically chosen and come from Melbourne to visit here. The group had six people in it and was young, and apart from two of us, new to the experience of wine tasting at a vineyard, but certainly keen to learn. She rushed through all the wines, just giving the standard spiel and often finishing them while already moving away. Given she had only 1 other group, of older people, she was conversing with normally and politely, we can only assume the treatment we got was due to assuming we wanted to just drink the wine and leave. It's not uncommon to experience this at vineyards and I understand it can be busy or some may come with that intention, but this time really left a negative impression.
