Moon Dog World

It was a random thought to visit Moon dog that night. It said no availability for the Friday night but when I rang Preston MDG they asked us to walk in. A great vibe and ambience if you wanna have a few different worlds in one place. You choose your mood, pool, beach, gaming, dine in or beer garden. Got a good food menu for everyone. We ended up buying pork ribs, avocado hummus tacos as entree, steak for two to share with deep fried mash and two cocktails. Big thank you for the sweet gentlemen Jasper who greet us with a smile until food served. They had a issue with our order and Jasper's customer service was amazing. Food was great and I think we ordered too much but we ate them all

Went for lunch, it was almost empty… ambience is good, nicely done. Food and drinks are pretty good. I’m sure the place will be buzzing in the evening!

Amazing brewpub. Completely different from other brewpubs. Massive main bar with galleries and a large beer garden. Watch out for the piranhas and the blue ringed octopus! Bar staff very knowledgeable about the beers on tap. The red beer was outstanding.
Food was quite good and not too expensive. The only criticism I have was the background music was a bit too loud. It made conversation a little difficult.
All in all, definitely worth another visit, if only for the beer.

It is amongst the places where you don't judge a book by its cover.amazing seating around the Inner blue Lagoon gives some beach vibes while the open sky and disco ball reflectors bring the ambience to a whole other level. Enjoy drinks and hangout with friends. This place also has its own brewery for beer lovers.

Great atmosphere for Cup long weekend. Food and craft beer were delicious. (Wish they did paddles though!) Very impressed with the customer service. Thank you to Phoebe for being so helpful over the phone and in person!

Absolutely great atmosphere and food. Plenty of beers on offer to try. Especially good on a warm day or night when they open the roof up.

Initially gives off a great vibe but had some issues. Tried ordering a drink at the bar but after standing for 10 minutes and being ignored by bartenders for girls flirting with them I gave up.

Ok prices but probably not coming back.

Also, layout seems weird. No dance floor and a massive pool taking up a third of the space. Cool idea, poor execution.

Waited 2 hours in line only to be told when directly asking the bouncer that he was letting no one else in. Absolute waste of time and ZERO communication. Not happy.

Waited for over 2 hours in an angry line only to be told at 10pm that no more people were being let in 'heeeeaps of space for walk-ins' turned into no space at all and an out of control crowd. Was quite honestly the worst night I have ever had, will not be going back.

My best friend and I came in tonight (1st December) for the BYO cup day. The staff were beyond amazing especially Phoebe, they were so incredibly kind and made the night so much better. Such a lovely time.

Waited in line for over 2 hours for nothing. A night ruined for hundreds of people. Zero care and communication to everyone waiting in line. Do NOT recommend.

Halloween at the moon dog world! Pretty cool place, and nice drinks, but huge lines for the bar. We were waiting for at least thirty minutes to get a drink - a bit understaffed.

Strapping young James was very speedy in the delivery of our 8 beers, processing our many gift cards and sending me on my way with a beautiful smile.

Unfortunately the drinks were sub-par and we got ignored at the bar (especially when a good looking girl was in front of us).

Huge waiting time only to be told that the doors were shut at 10, with no communication of this to those waiting outside at all. The night was thoroughly ruined, I would not recommend taking your chances here.

Waited in line for 2 and a half hours last night, all dressed up for the northeast party house event. The event said 'Plenty of room for walk ins no need for tickets. When we got to the front of the line security guards told us the event was closed and no one was getting in for the rest of the night. This was at 10: 15 and the event was closed, not one in one out. Argued with the security about the stupidity to no avail. The security made no effort to relay this info to the rest of the line who were now standing out in the rain.lucky the crowd didn't push the door down.

Had a great time with the fam. Boisterous fun, the vibe was up, everyone got the food they like and I got my favourite beers. Already planning the next visit.

"Free entry all night" for their Halloween party as advertised. They closed the doors at 10: 30pm on over 100 people most of which had waited over 2 hours for entry.

Absolutely horrible venue, DO NOT plan a night out here

Absolutely appalling lack of communication, had over 100 people waiting in the rain without letting us know what was happening. Waited in line for over two hours before leaving. They emphasised in their advertising that there was "heaps of space" yet that was obviously not the case. If you want a fun night out, definitely look elsewhere.

It’s as good as it looks. Love moon dog brews and this venue is worth a visit. Great vibe and the food is solid for a brewery
