Monash Doctors Surgery

I've been a patient for almost 10 years and on my last visit, I was spoken down to, treated disrespectfully and made to feel stupid.

I get that doctors are human who have bad days but that's no excuse to talk down to me, especially with a warning sign in your waiting room stating that aggression will not be tolerated, yet you believe it's ok coming from you. I spent the rest of the afternoon wondering what I did to deserve this, other than be a patient.

If you hate your job, then quit and remove your miserable attitude from being seen and spreading your toxicity. I tolerated your aggressive tone during my visit but it's the last time I'll set foot in your unwelcoming and uninviting clinic ever again.
I have nothing more to say except, SHAME ON YOU that you call yourself a healthcare worker. And I hope that the next patient you see, isn't suffering from a mental health issue that pushes them over the edge.

Much gratitude to Dr Tony Lucarelli for his care and expertise for our family over nearly 20 years. Highly recommended for diagnosis and treatment. Very respectful of my preference for holistic health.

Dr. Lucarelli is only useful for writing prescriptions. Does not care about his patients health and dismisses concerns. Seriously it blows my mind how people keep seeing this guy!

Dr. Andigoda de Silva is amazing and caring doctor. I would highly recommend him to everyone. He is your GP for family.

Unfortunately, one of the front staff lady was very unpolite, care less about patient feeling, but on billing money.which is sad making,

23/08/2023 Earlier incident was before, but speaking with Meenal today.she apologised to me and explained her reasons, reached to me with understanding and offered to help me on any case. I could not stay where I was, but to grow up and appreciate her,
We all agree, sometimes we are tied with our mind in one way which we think is right.but I have also understood that there is also a simple way just to listen to the person and embrace the situation, extend our right arm a little wide, and solve the situation, this way I have experienced I can do much more work efficiently and efficiently at workplace.

We all need is a sincere heart and word which can fill our heart. Love you all.

I would never go to any other medical practise. I have been coming here for about 20 years now. Our favourite doctor is Dr Thurairajah. She is always kind and caring and will attend to all your medical needs in a very professional manner and always gives very good advice and treatment. The Practise Manager, Meenal and the Receptionist Liyana are also very professional and friendly with a kind and personal touch. A BIG 'Thankyou' to you all for all the hard work you do! Very much appreciated!

Good Doctors. Dr. Shyamala Rajah is very good.
All the Receptionists are good. Meenal particular is Excellent and very professional. Always ready to go extra mile to help.

All staff and doctors are amazing there except practice manager. She should learn how to talk politely. I got very disappointed when I heard about my friends incident. Someone should take action against her (meenal) for her rude behaviour.

Nice doctors especially (Dr. Lucrelli, Dr. Raja). Reception staff especially Meenal is very supportive.

Appointment meant nothing to them. This is my second time here and each time I have to wait more than 30 minutes. The one came after me get to see the doctor first. If I want to wait this long I should’ve go to the hospital where it’s free.
Well… it’s worth the wait because the doctor is great.

Just got a call for telehealth from the doc although it was a late call as I understand they are busy. He rang and he was nice on the phone. Advised me to stay home and rest with my medication I have at home. Thank you.

A medical clinic resorting to spamming to get business?
When I called the reception to ask how they got my number, as I have never been their patient before, the staff became rude, said she don't know who sent it and hang up.

Really appreciate a bulk billed clinic that can still deliver great service. Thank you team, and thank you Dr De Silva.

Registered to this doctor surgery as I was told they offered bulk billing and that there was a one off fee of $80 for new patients. This was reinforced when I arrived at reception and by the doctor in the room. A week later and it appears this has changed to every appointment you will be charged $80 as I was asked to pay again when I booked my second visit. I said to the lady I am no longer a new patient and she said this didn't matter anymore, the fee was for every visit. Was happy with my initial doctor appointment, however, reception need to get organised and consistent with their communication to patients.

Monash doctor surgery has been our GP for many years. The reception staff is very humble and friendly. Dr. Raja is a great doctor and very affectionate.

A calm & neat place. As a family we've been visiting them since a year now, as & when we've had the need to meet a GP.

The staff is considerate. Special mention for Dr De Silva who is a considerate, impartial & empathetic individual.

As an individual or a patient I don’t care about the physician’s medical school grades or other accolades—I want to feel that I'm in good hands.

Dr De Silva is a good doctor who knows how to make a patient feel cared for, checks if the concerns are valid, & ensures his patients get the recommended screening tests, that their questions are answered, & offers a clear plan of action.

I have been visiting since I first landed in Australia in 2007. Have seens ups and downs but Dr Raj has helped me to come out stronger and healthier. I trust my health with MDS

I have been attending this clinic for many, many years and have always found the reception staff friendly, polite, pleasant and helpful. Dr Lucarelli is an outstanding Doctor with an amazing "bed side manner" which is rare these days. He treats all of his patients with the time and respect they need and deserve. I have always felt comfortable and very well looked after whenever I am there, both by the receptionists and Dr Tony. I am grateful to this clinic and to be in such great hands.
