The staff at counter scan item several times even if you have taken only one. Also, some of the discount shown on the product may not see on the receipt. Since this process is taking place at a fast pace we can't see what's going on.check the receipt and make sure you charged correctly before leaving the premises otherwise prepare for nasty surprises back at home. Happened to me several times.
This is on top of the premium price you pay for these groceries. So, don't hesitate to go back get your money back.

You guys selling some short-eats which are cooked previous night as todays one. Recently I bought some wades and found all are not cook the day I bought.never recommend for any one

Some of the staff are rude or just don't want to provide any service especially in the takeaway area. After standing in a long queue and come up to the counter and order, they tell you to join another queue in the same shop. I told them its ridiculous and left without ordering.

No pappadam and chicken in the chicken biriyani. They tried to replace it with some chilli chicken. But that too around a few cubes of chicken. When I asked the waitress to replace it she gave me even less. Very unprofessional. I am happy to pay for the right food. But this is very unprofessional.

Good place for shopping indian & srilankan grocery. Prices and quality of the items are excellent. This is one of the best grocery shop in south east melbourne. We will get tasty biriyanis. Staff needs to improve their customer service specially on busy times. This is a good place for shopping groceries.

Went to MKS to buy food at their take way counter and was waiting in line to be served. The waiter pulls some one from behind and brings them to the front of the queue.

Total disrespect for those doing the right thing waiting in line.

Very bad experience, My suggestion is that they fit ticket counters on both queues.

This will make it fair for all.

Waiters need to be more professional and courteous to customers.

Recently bought this one bag of 10kg double horse Matta rice from here. Very poor experience they sell it for special price with $2 less than normal but it's really old stock and it has worms in it.lucky we found it while washing the rice. We have a one and half year baby baby at home luckily we didn't give to him.

The cooks at the Dandenong shop are the BEST! The food is awwwesome! The Daal is the best! I get the Rotti Pack and a medium tub of Daal it is Super Daalicious! The price is that affordable you could almost have the Rotti pack with med Daal nearly all week! I'm addicted to MKS Daal and their Rotti pack! It's soooooooo good I live on the Frankston Line and have no problem travelling to Dandenong, and withwthat, it's still cheaper than Macca's and sooooo much better for you.

VERY POOR SERVICE AND SERVINGS

friday evening take away- asked for 3 large rice with goat curry, brijal and dhal - in all the containers i was given heaps of dhal and brinjal and really 3 small pieces of goat curry and flooded with gravy.also ordered a medium round container of plain goat curry- well 80% gravy, so much so that the person serving had to wrap the container with glad wrap.
I AM HAPPY TO PAY FOR GOOD FOOD BUT I HATE GETTING RIPPED OFF.

This is not the first time. It has happened several times before so it looks like I will be going to Colombo in future. They did not give me my poppadum and dried chilli. So disappointing again. Also the service leaves a lot to be desired. You need to get your act together.

Wonderful. Every time I come this way I make a stop. Love the variety of items. Prices are good and the quality of the products is top of the line. Great place to shop.

Service is poor, had to wait 15minutes at the fried snacks counter before we were served and that too after complaining. The hot food counter wasn't run very efficiently even with 7 staffs at the counter. Staffs wore the same gloves for food preparation to touching the counters and their face in addition to not wearing mask appropriately. One partiular guy at the payment counter had his mask under his chin and moved and mingled through the lunch crowd without donning the mask the entire time. The same chap, when he didn't know the price of an item, he simply typed it as snacks import and charged AUD5 more for 2 items which was refunded by another staff after complaining. There were a few customers who had mask under chin or under the nose and social distancing was not maintained anywhere in the shop. This place certainly needs a visit from health inspectors! Won't be visiting this particular branch ever again!

The food here should come with a warning. I introduced my family to it and though it’s been several years I’m proud to say that we’ve managed to conquer our addictions and now live relatively normal lives.

This was a great little store. The place was clean and pretty well stocked up on what we needed. The employees were very nice and helped carry the groceries out to the car.

I love this place and have been buying curries from here for over 5 years and it is always beautiful food, 5 stars from me

We bought the Chicken and Mutton Biryani from MKS Dandenong, on Saturday. What a disappointment! Go for it IF you want undercooked rice, overcooked chicken and mutton that was like leather! It was just spicy and lacked flavour.and we are people who know our biryani!
I always thought that MKS maintained a high standard when it came to their fresh food.we were sorely disappointed. Everything lacked flavour.
We had rumbly tummies the next day so the quality was definitely off!
good job on the Raita!
. Oh.and also, we found two strands of hair in the food! That is not hygienic at all!

They have drastically increased the prices of grocery items, unduely taking the advantage of panic buying. Check the prices of other Indian/SL groceries before going there. Very unpleasent.

Best value when it comes to srilankan/Indian groceries and srilankan food. Plenty of parking around but always a busy place.

Last week I bought malabar mixture it was smelling really bad and the taste was horrible.please dont buy any malabar snacks from that shop

I’m giving one star because I need people to see this I bought hopper Flower to make Hoppers but there were baby cockroaches in it which is very disgusting it’s not the first time this happens all the time and most of the time they are selling expired spices and products
