Dreadfully rude and unpleasant customer service. We were made to feel we were in the way and at no point was there a smile or any effort to make us feel welcome.

Great food and absolutely amazed by cook’s multitasking skills with precision. However I can’t say I experienced professional, friendly and courteous service.

Went for breakfast. Wonderful service, lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. The menu is seasonal and may change. Will be a regular. Highly recommended!

Wonderful, wonderful food - every piece made with care and attention. Delivered with an equal amount of care and attention by friendly, top notch staff. Feels like being wrapped up in a big family dinner party. Will be back for another taste of the panacotta.thanks again

Wandered up to Mr Sandrino for a birthday dinner with my partner looking for a relaxed evening of food and wine.
We were not disappointed at all.
What an amazing place this is.
Staff are friendly and warm with everything is delivered with a smile.
Kim made us feel welcome from the moment we walked and her fun personality suits the relaxed atmosphere of the place.
My partner had the steak whilst i had the pork belly, both of which were divine with a shared Cos salad all of which exceeded our expectations
We washed all of this down with a beautiful bottle of Bandol Rose'.
We will definately be coming back to enjoy the superb offerings at Mister Sandrino

Wow what a great little local! Friendly service and great wine selection. Just ask Pia for a recommendation, she has an amazing palate. Daniel's food is delicious too. Looking forward to many nights here eating and drinking the night away. So glad we have a place like this around the corner, keep it up guys!

I've been travelling past this place ever since the brown paper blocked the windows thinking I should go in. Fantastic service! Everything we ate was delicious. Everything we drank was delicious. We are so lucky to have this little gem of a wine bar just a short stumble home! Interesting and tasty food and great selection of wines all in a lovely little space that is inviting and made all the welcoming by the attentive staff, Mister Sandrino will be a favourite haunt.

Sunday night in Hawthorn, there is some mondayitis kicking in, the week’s about to start in leafy green belt bougie suburb land which means the school run, back to the office-whipper snipper down time. Not to worry, walk on up to Mister Sandrino and ask Pia nicely to bring out some treat plates from Daniel’s cucina. Home food cooked perfectly, wine bottles on the wall to choose from (and taste first if you ask Pia really nicely). Gravlax, Osso Bucco, some amazing chorizo dish, plates of honeyed Brussel sprouts. Then there is creamy dessert. You will be looked after, forget Monday and have dinner with Daniel and Pia followed by a crisp walk home.

Not pretentious in any way, with a compact and precise menu that covers all bases.
Nice cheese selection with an extensive wine list.
You will not be disappointed.
