Miss Moose Tuck Shop reviews
43I stumbled on this place by accident when a friend gave me a Raspberry brownie made here. Ohhhh my goodness. How can things that taste so devine be not only legal but amazingly priced? The lemon slice, the brownie, the iced coffees. Woweee. I had brunch with a girlfriend the other week after telling her about the brownies and we both loved the atmosphere, it was great value for the money and the wait staff were happy to wait tables. Great job Miss Moose Cafe from a nee but soon to be returning customer who loves the brownies
I bought the vegan raspberry cheesecake today for hubby's birthday and it was amazing! Kids loved it too. You wouldn't know it was vegan (we're not a vegan family). Another great slice to come out of this Somerville cafe. Well done Miss Moose!
Yes, the coffee is so good, great atmosphere, very relaxed, great breakfast and a very kid friendly place.
Best coffee I've EVER had. I thought long and hard about it, I'm now happy to make such a bold statement. Great work! Keep it up and I'll definitely be back!
Absolutely the best coffee & wet chai I have found on the peninsula! This will be my permanent place to visit from now on. Eggs Benny is to die for & omg the Rosti. My son loves his croissants even said to me Mum I’ll have this croissant over any quality over quantity mummy
Extremely disappointing. No table service. Overpriced and underwhelming.
The eggs benedict ($18.50) consisted of a few pieces of deli ham, two eggs, toast drenched in butter and about a tablespoon of flavourless hollandaise sauce.
For everyone saying the coffee is amazing, skip this place and go to Commonfolk in Mornington or Frankston. Miss Moose uses their beans, but they certainly don't do them justice.
Commonfolk has far better blends and outstanding food to go with it.
First time trying this place, excellent vibe, good homemade food and generous portions. I will definitely come back.
Olivia’s smile taking orders is sure to put you in a good morning mood.
Hands down THE best coffee I have ever had. We come here almost daily, and I have never had a bad coffee. The staff are always friendly, the coffee is always on point, the food is delish and the price point is amazing. We love it!
Came here for lunch with our young toddler. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Good customer service and great with our son. Food was nice and well priced. There was a small kids area which made the wait for food less stressful with a young child. Very nice, relaxed atmosphere and we didn’t feel rushed.
Amazing food and quality service!
We’re not from around the area, so we went by a local cafe that has good reviews and let me tell you they didn’t disappoint. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating even though I had a few food allergies. Had the tasty pork rosti dish and their smoothies are to die for. Couldn’t recommend this cafe more ️
Lovely Cafe, exceptional food, staff very understanding when we had to pack up and go takeaway due to baby.
Thank you
The food and atmosphere is beautiful.
The staff are so lovely always bright and cheery. I highly recommend this amazing coffee shop!
From the moment you walk in there is a strangely wonderful and welcoming vibe. Sit at the beautiful tables under the tree out the front, eat in or take away. The friendly bubbly staff were a pleasure and helpful. Fresh and Filling delicious food. A little pricey but definitely worth it for the fresh and quality service. Thank you.
Good speedy service, friendly staff, blonde lady (indie) was very accommodating with our questions.will be back!
Horrible 1950s music played way to loud, bacon was cremated and the hollandaise sauce had way too much lemon in it. Wont be back
Goes good for a sit in or takeaway lunch. We go here once every couple of weeks. The chicken deluxe wrap it's a highlight or the bacon and egg roll. Classic country style cafe. Super tasty. I can't give 5 as places like fitzrovia or 7 seeds or industry beans get a 5 in this category, and they're not up there. Super good forever for where it is. We'll be back.
Second visit to Miss Moose and I'm just as impressed as the first time. Great food and service.
A hidden gem! Tucked away in a very unassuming industrial estate Miss Moose is a real surprise. Lots of very interesting meals, drinks and smoothies. Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, and all cooked on the premises. Very friendly service too.
Have been to Miss Moose a number of times and have found staff to be very friendly and caring in regards to service and assisting with my elderly Mother. Food and coffee are excellent and great ambience and atmosphere. Highly recommended and will revisit again and again.
Disappointing
i often stop for a coffee, which is always exceptional!
however this time the food was really average tbh unlike previous visits.we order a chicken, turkish bread foccacia type of roll and a salad for my partner.both were bland.the chicken was not appetizing at all.the salad was too crunchy and burnt on one side.the menu doesnt have much to offer and probably needs a change.pricing for the quality of the food we received was over the top expensive compared to other cafes i have visited
i am hoping it was just the one off and the food improves in the future and i can come back and give a positive review.you get for the coffee ️
even though i gave only i would however recommend this cafe as i have visited many times with the intention of reviewing their cafe.
