Mishra's Kitchen

The kitchen is central to the dining area so you can see what is going on. And what is going on is authentic and delicious Indian food. The service was excellent even when slammed on a Friday night. It's a small establishment but very much a local gem. Prices are super reasonable and portions generous.

Amazing Indian food — best I’ve had in Australia so far. Incredible flavours and a bit different to the norm. The kitchen staff were so sweet and shared some samples they were trialling and gave us a spice mix we really liked to take home. The waitress was also so lovely. Such a wonderful experience! Thank you for making it such a nice night!

One of the best restaurants to have Indian cuisine. The Lamb shank and special naan in their menu is a must try one!

Butter chicken was nice but gajar da halwa had weird spice taste when its supposed to be sweet. Not a happy ending of the dinner

Particularly enjoyed the Lamb Korma, Goan Fish Curry and Shabnam Curry (Chef's special with mushrooms and peas).

We drive a little further than others to come here. Small, frequented by lots of younger families. Great food. Helpful staff.

Friendly & prompt service. They made a mistake with some food but this was quickly rectified with great satisfaction. Recommended with 5 stars

Mishra's Kitchen has been one of my favorite restaurant.food is full of flavor and test fresh. Staff is polite and attentive. Chicken Tikka masala is my favorite. Tandoori platter was good to share, variety of meat from tandoor was moist and tender.excellent job.

Fantastic little authentic Indian restaurant! We eat it at least once a week and look forward to it every time!

Great family friendly restaurant. Great food and great service. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was great, butter chicken was one of the best we had. Lamb was tender and garlic bread was soft and fresh. We will come here again.

Worst food ever
Very poor quality and I placed an order for two curries malai kofta (full masala gravy, no cashew paste and only potato dumpling in hot masala) and paneer tikka masala (simply raw paneer with onion and capsicum in hot masala).
I think chef doesn’t have the knowledge of cooking curries properly.
It’s my first and last time I ever had worst food in Melbourne.
MINUS five star rating.
Never recommend to anyone known to me.

Very tasty food and customer service is awesome.
I like palak paneer, paneer tika masala and very soft fresh naan.
