Over the course of 8 years, Mishra's kitchen is the only restaurant that I have and will continue to visit routinely. Yes the food is that enjoyable, the chefs and the staff, that hard-working and wonderful and the spot, that welcoming!

Wow wow wow - such incredible and authentic Indian! We've just moved into the area and have found the most amazing Indian restaurant in Mishra's.

Warm welcome from Nisha who explained the menu including the chef's specialty of goat. We ordered the goat curry and a chicken tikka masala with rice and garlic naan. Both dishes were absolutely sensational - authentic, great tasting, perfect amount of heat.

Looking forward to going back again and again. BYO wine.

Hit and miss. Usually amazing. Tonight they used inedible lamb off cuts. I rinsed them off and fed them to the dog.

Never again. Was a regular for many years. After attempting to order and given a pick up time. It exceeded over 30m questioned again as to how much longer than I get advised my food got given to someone else. I walked out and won't return. So very disappointed

I love everything about this restaurant! The food is amazing, cute cosy interior, nice coloured crockery and complimentary papadams! Staff are great and very helpful to assist with spice level to taste. Value for money unlike so many places. Mishra's never disappoints, never change!:)

First time here. Recommended by our friend. I absolutely loved it! We came in a big group and was amazed to see how well they catered to all different dietary needs- GF, Vegetarians and Lactose free. Wide varieties of dishes to choose from with very distinct tastes, clean & fresh and no MSG after taste. Friendly staff, clean environment, price is very very low, plenty of parking spots. Definitely coming back. Thanks Mishra’s kitchen team!

Frequent visitor with my partner here - we absolutely love it every time, the food is fantastic and it’s in a nice spot. Our favourite recommendation is the mango chicken (along with everything else on the menu!)

Friendly service and delicious food. Almost the entire menu (besides naan) is gluten free. Very well priced too, we paid $56 for an entree, 2 mains, rice, naan, raita, a cider and a lassi. Would definitely return.

We've eaten here a couple of times now, and the food is always excellent. The Tandoor dishes are especially recommended and tasty, but you won't be disappointed by anything, except if you're expecting the food to be hot or spicy. Even when asking for hot, all dishes will be medium mild at best. If you have no issues with that, this place can be fully recommended.
Especially when spring and summer have arrived, it's lovely to sit outside on the deck.
They're licensed but fully allow BYO, so getting something from the bottleshop 4 doors down might be a good idea if you're in the mood for a little more than the standard Crown or Kingfisher beers.

Just ordered from Uber eats! Fantastic as always! Mishra never fails to deliver. I have dined in as well and the staff is very welcoming. The food is prepared hygienically and it tastes just right.

Lovely atmosphere and it was great being able to buy drinks from the bar next door. Really wanted to like the food but everything we ordered was average and nothing stood out. 2.5 stars

Mishra's kitchen is a cozy Indian restaurant on a quiet street in Yarraville. They served us delicious Indian cuisine that left us licking our fingers. We started with the succulent tandoori platter and finished dinner with their signature daal and paalak paneer, both were incredible. The food was very fresh and the spice level was perfect (medium). Even though we were full, we tried their homemade kulfi dessert and it was worth it. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

I had a nice takeway during lockdown as recommended multiple times in local FB group, finally had a chance to visit inperson for a sit down meal, even better! Amazing samosas and bhaji, all curry can be tailored to different spices, waiters very accommodating to BYO even allowing you to use their fridge, the outdoor setup is great, lots of seating and space, this will be a regular visit for sure
