MIPUNG Korean BBQ Buffet Restaurant

Came for dinner with the whole family, but they refused to serve us.even the restruant is half empty. I was told they don't tdo walk ins.

Have been here a few times and I feel it is quite consistent with food quality and service, although would have preferred to have more than 1 hot plate for 5 adults as it takes too long to cook enough to eat before our session was up.

Good quality meat, especially the steak and ribs. Services also great. Best Korean all you can eat bbq in town.

Staff is super friendly! Food is really fresh. They have a huge variety of Korean food and kid friendly foods!

With a price of less than $50 per adult, what can you ask more for? Perfect place for meat lovers and definitely will come back again.
Also, fruits and cooked pipis are very fresh and juicy!

Bad customer service, i call them early to cancel my booking because i had some issue, there 1 guy answers my call talk really rude. Mipung was my favourite restaurant but not anymore. Bad attitude worker

I make a reservation and call the restaurant but when I come he told me not available, fking waste our time and money, plz go other restaurants, don’t waste time here

Lots of meat selection, they are good. Staff are attentive to change the hot plate a few times. Good value for the money. Watermelon soju was really nice. Unfortunately the soft serve machine was out of order, so only had the fruit popsicles (only 2 flavours) available. I founds Ssam has better choices of desserts. Lots of cooked foods too, didnt try them all but I like their fried chicken (bones ones), their seafood pancake. Dont bother with tteokboki, that was the most bland tteokboki I ever had. Cooked beef bulgogi wasnt that great too, stick with the bbq one! Fish cake was too big for 1 person and I wouldn’t get it again. I love that they have the seaweed salad. Their gochujang sauce is pretty salty! Will come back again another time, good value for all you can eat.

Average buffet food. The beef cuts are average. A few of the Fried chicken pieces were not fully cooked.

Customer service is quite good.

Tried it last night and wasn't pleased at all. Not as many selection compared to other KBBQs I went to. Meat was not quality. Cooked food was so-so, I just liked the kimchi pancake. Place was so cramped, we were placed in an area where 5 people isn't seqting comfortably, one person on the way of everyone else. Service was terrible, feels like they don't even want to serve you at all. Price is expensive for us as we really didn't enjoy the experience. Will not come back and recommend.

Been here a few times now for dinner buffet, large variety of cut meats, quite fresh as well.good variety of korean street foods and desserts as well.will come back for more in the near future

Don’t come here if you expect your booking to be honoured. Was informed one hour prior to our booking (that was confirmed) that they have no tables available and that we could not be accommodated. Have actually also eaten here two years prior. Quality of the meat is sub-par. The meat hides behind over powering marinade.

It use to be one of the best K-BBQ places but not anymore.

The meat last night especially the beef wasn’t fresh at all. It had a really bad smell and it really made one of us get sick through the night. The marinated pork and the chicken is ok but we felt it has gone downhill especially the amount of meat selection.

The soup was not great at all and we hd to drink many cups of water meaning the amount of msg put into the soup is ridiculous.

For dessert, the ice-cream and the selection of ice popsicles are much less than before and the flavours are so artificial. Where has the cake gone? Only dessert left is watermelons that aren’t sweet and ice lollies. Honestly, if you expect customers to pay $44.50, at least provide fresh food and more range for the dessert.

I do give credit to the cooked food such as the fried crab claw, potato cake and chicken. However, that isn’t what we came to pay for. We were so disappointed with the drop in standards that we left early without being full and decided not to return again (especially one of us has fallen sick suspecting food poisoning).

The food was okay, although I caught an oversized waiter with dark features and a Mohawk haircut (very unprofessional haircut) walk out of the bathroom with what appeared to be feta cheese all over his mouth and hands. Very unprofessional and absurd behaviour. He then proceeded to walk around the restaurant laughing with the creepy man who deals with the dishes and cutlery at the back. I also felt very rushed by the young waiter (poorly trained) and noticed him scratching his backside and sniffing his fingers! I wanted to get the h*ll out of restaurant after I saw that vigorous act! Won’t be coming back.

This was our second time coming here and sadly most likely our last. The first time was good and at an expected price. This time around all of the sides were tepid as if they had been sitting out for hours before our booking, and flavourless in comparison to our first visit. When it came to the meat for the most part it was okay, till we got to the pork which tasted old and sour as if it had been mixed with fresh meat on top. We decided to leave early and sure enough we had food poisoning. Currently on day 2 of recovering and it’s been far from pleasant. Really disappointed this time around as we were excited to come back, but after paying $120 for flavourless food and food poisoning, I think maybe not.

The food here is amazing. The meat has so much flavor and the staff is so kind. I love the spicy rice cakes there so good

Great selection of meat, including some Angus and wagyu cuts. Self-serve means minimal waiting and more time enjoying dinner. Good variety of buffet food but would've been nice to have proper salad and banchan to balance all the meat and add different flavor profiles.

Make a booking, because people queue up before they open and it's a mad rush when the doors open.

For the price was great.
Location was okay, decorations was okay.
Service was good. Very polite and welcoming. Keep changing our bbq plate, which was very useful.
Meats were fresh, except couple of choices such as rib eye wague. Fried chicken was very cold.
We were 4 and bbq plate was big enough, if you are 4+ ask for two bbq plate table.
Its BYO, beers for $7, $6.

Booked on Friday. Just didn't pick up call. When I have work on Saturday. They just cancel my booking. Got 4 kids with no where to go on a Saturday night. Did call 2hours before my booking they said they cancel because I didn't pick calls and reply text at 2 o'clock. Maybe I got too many kids. They don't want me take the space. So upset for the whole night. It was my daughters birthday. First bad comment I ever left. Just feel so sad.

One of the best Korean BBQ places I’ve been to, good prices per person and it’s all you can eat.
4-Stars due to the food on the benches not having any labels, would definitely help for people who have allergies (like me) : (
