The initial appointment was booked with the wrong doctor. This meant a one hour drive each way for nothing.
Second appointment comes around and all went well. I had to call with a quick follow up query and was asked to email my request through, which I did. Two emails, three messages (one with the rooms next door as at least they answer their phone) and more than one week later, no response.
Extremely poor follow up communication compromising patient care.

From the moment I walked in I was made feel very comfortable and at ease.
The staff are very helpful, polite and ready to answer any questions that I had.
Would definitely recommend this place for their professional knowledge and kindness.

Very refreshing to be taken seriously and treated with real compassion and professional expertise. A lot of chronic pain sufferers like myself might not have much hope left that we will be treated properly and be really listened to, but this clinic has good doctors who are practicing ethical medicine with a person-centered approach. I would sincerely love to be able to say how wonderful this clinic is, but they refused to see me as I haven’t got private health insurance. There was no discussion about my ability to pay or not, just the explanation that it was ‘clinic policy’.

It’s a business, I get it, but it’s also a medical clinic. What’s more, it’s a pain management clinic. Being knocked back after waiting weeks to try and book an appointment was distressing to say the least.

So, to the doctors who run it — do better

MBPS are great! 10/10 recommend. From the top Rachael was so helpful and got me an appointment as soon as she could and Ilonka was amazing, giving me loads of information and answering all my questions.
