Awesome bagels, probably the best I've tried in Melbourne.
Standard cream cheese on poppy seed always gets me but this one really delivered heavy.

My partner and I visited this place today as we got a recommendation from a friend. The bagels were nice, though we had a bit of a gross moment when I found a bug (looked like a beetle) in the cream cheese and raspberry bagel. The staff were pretty nice about it though, fixed it up and even threw in some extra goodies. Service was solid, but they should definitely work on keeping things bug-free!

A great takeaway bagel shop in Brunswick. They have excellent bagels and a variety of cream cheese spreads. I only wish they also sold espresso too. That's ok, perhaps it's better to stick with doing one thing right. Open from 9am, so not for the early birds.

We had the pastrami on a sesame seed bagel. Light, crunchy and tasty bagel with quality toppings in a delicious combination. Quick service, too, although there wasn't much of a queue when we arrived. There was one group ahead of us and we got ours in about 5 min. Dress for the weather; there's no cover while you wait.

I've been quite slack not reviewing this little gem earlier, and I must profess to have been here a number of times. Mile End always serve quality bagels with interesting ingredients but my most recent experience was absolutely the best. Rare roast beef with horseradish cream and chimichurri! Let your tastebuds get involved.

Delicious bagels. Wish I had gotten there earlier in the day as a few had been taken off the menu due to being sold out.

Best bagels in Melbourne. So generous with their fillings and spreads! Recommend buying half a dozen to cut and freeze to have at home.

Favorite bagel is cream cheese with vanilla mascarpone with honey oat bagel.

They sold out on honey oat so I got second best cinnamon and raisin

Turn down a Brunswick side street to find this little front of house tucked into a garage roller door.
Here is a bagel joint of taste bud heaven.
They have a excellent selection, alongside a eveflowing supply of really good cold brew (and a bag of beans if you enjoy it to take home).
I generally go for the number 6 (Ham, cheese.egg salad, pickles and dijon) on a everything bun, but the others like the no 11 (beetroot) are also well worth it.
There is no seating here, but being near the Baths and the Upfield bike path it is a good spot to grab a bagel and go for a wander while checking out the graffiti art.

We decided to try this place for a Saturday lunch.
I ordered the pastrami which had brisket pastrami, honey mustard, cream cheese and pickles.
So fresh and tasty, mine was gone in minutes.
Also tried the batch brew coffee, like you get in America, really good.
Staff were friendly.
Would definitely come back here.

Bagels are nice (salmon bagel - no. 7 and ham bagel - no. 6) but the coffee doesn’t taste good (soy cappuccino & dirty chai)

Great, generously filled bagels but every time I’ve been the staff are rude and dismissive. Last time I waited almost 15 minutes on a quiet midweek morning. Went to check up on my simple order and she didn’t remember my face and thought I was a new customer. Order was lying there ready and she hadn’t called my name. I was right there. Pain in the arse.

Fantastic bagel shop tucked away behind the main shopping strip. Bagel was fantastic and I highly recommend you try them.

I was dropping my bike off to be repaired and noticed this place next door. We spontaneously bought some bagels and they were offering free coffee aswell which is generous. The bagels were amazing and really friendly staff.

Delightfully delicious bagels. Hole in the wall side street situation. Expect a feed on the curb side or take away moment. Can't beat the salmon classic

Love this place, quality of food is awesome but nearly every time any variation I have requested is not done, which is a little annoying! Particularly when it is just one ingredient that is subbed or omitted.

Terrible customer service. Waited 45 minutes. They also do not accept cash which is just annoying.

Cool little nook location. Always liked Mile End bagels. However, this location required customers to install an app and create an account just to order something. Might be better if they had a QR ordering page like most pubs have.

The staff did apologise to me about having to go through the app as they are understaffed.

Last weekend we tried the bagels from Mile End Bagels in Brunswick, there is no sitting available at this store so we ordered through their app and went there to pick it up.
Ricardo had the brisket pastrami, which was pretty loaded with acidic and slightly spicy flavours that went well together
I had the chicken salad where the honey oat bagel was the highlight along with a big chunk of chicken
We also tried the option to build our own bagel but we went overboard picking way too many cheeses and sauces, so the smoked salmon was a bit lost swimming around all the creamy stuff as you can see in the third pic
Featuring:
1️⃣ Brisket pastrami, pickles, cream cheese & apricot mustard + everything bagel
2️⃣ Chicken salad, avo, BBQ sauce, cheese, tomato, red onion & rocket + honey oat bagel
3️⃣ Build your own bagel: smoked salmon, avocado, cheddar cheese, dill and caper cream cheese, dijon mustard, mayonnaise, red onion & cracked pepper + poppy seed bagel
4️⃣ Oat milk iced latte

Pretty avg. Bagels hard and didn’t taste fresh, decent but unremarkable fillings. Had a smoked salmon and a ham. Not better or worse than what you’d get in any random cafe in Melbourne.
