Mildura Visitor Information and Booking Centre reviews
46The assistance which we received yesterday was simply amazing. We were having difficulties with our COVID registrations with myGovID and updates on our phones. The great staff (Jo) showed exceptional patience and skill to sort all of our problems and then she highlighted many of Mildura’s attractions for us. Tremendous service! Can’t express our appreciation strongly enough.
Great place but very quiet during Covid. Library was open and found new authors. Saves purchasing books that litter the house once read.
I am one of many of the Greater Geelong or Surfcoast residents who had left these areas
prior to the snap lockdown announced on Sunday. The advice from the Government website was to stay where you are on holiday
if possible. So that’s what we have done and in fact extended our stay in Mildura.
We went to the Info Centre to get some tourist
information and we were greeted with ignorance and discrimination. We were told we could not come in and should confine ourselves to our hotel room or go home! I politely showed them the advice from the Government Website which we were following and the response was one of mistrust and accusations. I am very upset and disappointed. Every other business we have been to in Mildura have been welcoming and understanding of the rules and our predicament.
I hope the Info Centre informs themselves better
of the regulations pertaining to tourists in their area and treat them with more respect in the future.
We visited the Info Centre to get some ideas on how to fill our time whilst staying in Mildura. What a wealth of information and displays are available at the centre. We also were met by one of the staff who was incredibly helpful and had amazing knowledge on what's on offer in Mildura. So passionate about her hometown - it was beautiful to see!
Very relaxing place, it has a library, information centre, a place to eat and the wave pool all under one roof
Very helpful staff. Worth a visit to help you choose what's available to see and do in Mildura. Make this your first stop!
Excellent. Thoroughly professional and friendly staff and awesome information and history displays.
This Visitor's Centre is an asset to Mildura. It is so well set up and decorated. But the main thing for me was the patience and helpfulness of the staff member who helped me with my problem. I couldn't be any happier with the service.
First rate service with a smile, very helpful and informative. Was a little lost and the lady came to find me before I left.
Probably one of the best information centres I've been to, as it's part museum, plus it has the usual brochures and information you want, and a decent selection of gifts. It's also nicely laid out and displayed. The staff are friendly and helpful, and usually very knowledgeable, sometimes with some great tips that only a true local would know.
The lady was wonderful, she spent so much time with us and we could see that although she told us she was originally from SA and she had lived in Mildura for 25 years her heart was in her job.
Lovely centre, well done!
Popped in to find out what we can do for new year's, left with about a week's worth of activities for the kids. Thanks so much guys!
Went in there looking for things to do, thanks to Gayle we now have a holiday packed with fun things to do around town!
Visit here if you come for Mildura first time. Good toilets and coffee shop inside. Friendly service from information desk. Souvenirs are available to buy
First stop in Mildura. Staff extremely informative, helpful, and have heaps of brochures to help you choose activities to do. Lots of choices, and both NSW and VIC fishing licences can be purchased here.
Was a shame the historical/gift shop area was closed due to covid because it looked like it would have been well worth going through. Surrounded by nice gardens with arty things in the gardens. Could use more caravan parking though.
Aqua facilities Gym Child care centre Visitor center Library and the Witch doctor Cafe which has great coffee and great food. Great for locals and visitors to get healthy get social.
A great place for a coffee while you are digesting your touring information. Very friendly staff in coffe shop & info centre.
Not as many Christmas trees on display this year but still interesting. Well done to those who have contributed. Great centre and well worth a visit by visitors.
Excellent facilities, one of the best displays I have seen, also attended is library and swimming centre
Always staffed by knowledgable friendly helpful individuals. Great gift shop to grab Mildura memorabilia.
