Mildura Golf Resort

Rooms lack maintenance 1 of our friends tried getting their sliding flyscreen fixed as the rollers had gone. Maintenance guy's idea of a fix was to spray it with WD40 thus to say it didn't fix it. Our room the toilet half flush didn't work, key to back door didn't work all doors including the fridge squeaked every time you opened them. The my chicken schnitzel I ordered that night was so over cooked and dry it was uneatable others on the table had the same problem with theirs. Cleaning did room so well there was still boxed Dairy Milk empty egg containers under edge of the bed from previous visitors a week earlier. Showers it was almost impossible to get a consistent temperature without either scalding yourself to death or freezing your butt off. We went for breakfast the next morning with the rest of the group when we went to order tea with our breakfast we were told they don't do tea or coffee with breakfast in all the places we have stayed we have never been told this. It gives you the impression they don't really want you there. We ended up all 15 of us went to the RSL club where we got excellent service so they got our business for the week.we certainly will not be going back there next year they really need to lift their game normally I don't write reviews or complain but I needed to let others know what they were in for if visiting here. It's a shame really hope they pull their socks up. Complimentary Austar wasn't watchable it was just snow all over the picture unable to get settings to watch it. Lastly the people in the next room had their aircon unit running all night which droned through our room and could be heard even over the TV it kept turning on and off every 10 minutes or so it would be off for about 3 minutes then back on again for 10 minutes it was so annoying trying to get to sleep with it keep doing this

So we arrived a family of 5 to stay 2 nights on a belting hot December evening with our kids ready to hit the pool. Oh dear the room is full of mozzies and no decent spray in sight.
Having found alternate accommodation for the night I ring for a refund, yes that will all been taken care of they say. And the next morning a follow up and confirmation the refund has been made.
The statement arrives, but only half the payment has been refunded.
And now 1 month and several phone calls later they say yes we know you were only paid half, we have made a mistake, you are owed the money but we can't pay because and we don't know what've done. And rude as well!

Hmmm.obviously you have made mistake and not refunded the correct amount. Please get on with it!

Positives-
well priced.fantastic meals.showers were hot with good pressure.beds were comfortable.bistro staff were very polite and accommodating.location/view of course.
Golf course.

Negatives-
poor orginisiation at the pro shop (was pretty much abused and called a liar when i spoke to someone about my pre orginised tee time.because they never wrote it in the diary!)
poor attitude towards visiting golfers, very rude, arrogant and unprofessional staff at the pro shop (one member in particular)
lack of empathy/care from the pro shop as to pre sticking to pre orginised tee times. (in two rounds of golf, waited 50 minutes to an hour and a half both rounds to get onto the course, tee times were booked a week in advance.)

Worst place we've ever stayed. The beds were the most uncomfortable thing I've ever slept on. And that includes sleeping on the ground while camping. We'd have been better off sleeping on the floor.

And forget about a nice hot shower in the morning to help with the back pain from the bed. The water in the shower was luke warm at best. And that was with the hot water turned up to full and the cold water turned completely off.

This place is $20 cheaper than everywhere else, but the severe back pain and lack of sleep is just not worth it. Stay somewhere else. Vineland is much nicer than this place.

Great accommodation clean rooms but could have better locks on doors. Other than that it was amazing.

Could be better room sizes and could also use updated t.v and air cons but apart from that nice placev

Lovely staff and great location!
I booked a room for myself and my partner for Valentine’s Day and asked for a few rose petals to be put in our room for the occasion. We received a few rose petals AND SOME! Staff went over and above what I asked for and made the room look absolutely beautiful.

Amenities are beautiful as are the trees. Fantastic resort and I highly recommend going along if you can
