Mildura Golf Resort

Lovely large room, windows looking out to fairway. Could not fault anything and so reasonably priced.would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a "resort" then this should not be on your list - it is a tired motel in the middle of a golf course, with Pokies and a club bar. The "restaurant" serves the same meals as the bar - but you get a table cloth and your cutlery is set on the table for you. There is an outdoor unheated swimming pool in a wire cage squeezed between the car park and fairway for all to watch the bathing beauties! There was a Sauna room but it no longer functions. The "free Internet" works fine in the carpark but drops to next to useless in your room. Lacking any attention to detail - like the two mugs that were mis-matched, the two bowls were mis-matched and the two plates were mis-matched! Located well away from the Town Centre, you are only within walking distance of the golf course. Unless you are there to play golf, there are dozens of far nicer motels in town

Stayed here before and we both had burgers for dinner. Good meals, good sleep and good shower. Undercover parking

Played golf with the vets and the club made us feel very welcome. They went beyond actually. The meal served after our game was great and the staff were courteous, friendly and went out of their way. The course was in excellent condition and will only improve. Great time was had by all.

Bloody fantastic golf course PLAY it if you can friendly staff behind bar thoroughly enjoyed it

Comfortable unit to stay on route between Warmambool & Broken Hill. Great meals at the Bistro. Play area for children. Well used by golfers. Staff very helpful.

Course is great fairways are manicured. Older guy in golf shop a bit grumpy and nor very welcoming but younger guy was great.

A very pleasant days golf. The course is interesting, the fairways wide but enough trees and water to keep you mindfull. Plenty of sand protects a number of greens. The pace of the greens was hard to judge consistently. Big hitters would have a field day here.

Very enjoyable round of golf, couple of beers afterwards. I could definitely spend a weekend there

The drive into the resort is absolutely beautiful, stunning views and greenery.as you turn the corner your eyes stick on your run down, broken and dirty 4star accomodation.the room was absolutely disgraceful, stains on all the chairs, rubbish and dirt in every inch on the place.there was left over stuff from the past attendants.the outdoor seating had ONE chair (we have a family room of 4) and it was covered in dirt.the bathroom is hideous, it’s like something from the 1950s.the water system has bipolar, it’s either boiling hot or freezing cold.the water pressure is close to being non existent.i am absolutely appalled and disgraced, i feel disgusting staying in this accommodation.i wish i could give 0 stars.

This is the first accommodation stop of our 3-week self drive Central Australia holiday before COVID.

Upon arrival, we checked in, unloaded our luggage, and drove off to the George Chaffey Bridge, that carries the Sturt Highway across the Murray River from Milted dura in Victoria to Buronga in New South. It is about 5 km away, and we arrived just before sunset, and the bridge appeared golden.

Just another few kilometres drive we reached the Mildura Wharf which is close to Paddlesteamers Melbourne, Rothbury and Mundoo. It was a change of scenery after more than 9 hours of driving (including toilet breaks). The water of the Murray River, the distance bushland across the NSW side, and the elegant pelican were calming.

After we returned to the resort, we were too tired to explore other amenities such as golf course, outdoor pool, sauna and steam room.

We did, however, dine in at the bistro and ordered our favourite dish on the menu - beef cheek. The dark chocolate brown colour might not look appealing, but if cooked properly, the meat would melt in the mouth. None of our travel companions had try beef cheek before, a few dared to followed us. Well, they remained as our friends, LOL.

Time to hit the bed. The room was dated, with basic furniture, but clean. The important thing was the bed was big and comfortable.

Very average. Yes it has a bed and good safe parking. But the bed was very hard. And very cold. And what is worse than a cold hard bed?

Upon entering the room I did a Covid clean and wiped down the surfaces. Well my cleaning disinfectant wipes came back dirty and I began to dry retch. A bit of vomit almost came out but luckily I managed to swallow it again.

On the positive the showers were very hot. But the soap dispensers were empty. So it's a bit hit and miss. The complimentary kookas biscuits were nice which supplemented my Weet bix nicely.

Potential to be a nice place. Just let down by insufficient cleaning.

We spent 3 nights here while working in Mildura, accommodation was adequate, golf couse was in good nick whilst greens were a little slow. Would definately come again.

Rooms were a little dated, but cheap for $79 per night. Clean, beds good, views of the putting tee from our room. Bistro was good, large meals, beer and wine prices were good. Guests get same prices as members.

Average rooms. Badly need updating and cleaning. Dining experience - average. Staff were great. Golf course - nice. Gaming venue closed at 10pm on a Saturday night public holiday weekend - very average as people were wanting to go in. Overall - won't come back

We stayed in the motel and decided to book and try out the food in the restaurant. My wife and I thought since it was a golf club ect we had a feeling meals would have been small and low prices.
But we were surprised to find that the meals were very good sizes and very filling, and prices were very normal to any other pub or restaurant.
My wife had the pasta (alfredo) with crispy chicken which was tasty and a great size but watery, I had the t-bone steak which was cooked to perfection, also had the deserts homemade cheesecake was fantastic and the sticky date was even better.
My wife and I will definitely be coming back here.

Stayed at resort with overseas friends. Old motel units. Beds comfortable, other fittings tired, but price quite cheap by comparison with most other Mildura accommodation. Rear door of units opening onto golf course was a bonus, especially in 46 degree heat. Very hot at front entrance with sealed car park area. Lovely setting.

Grate food cold drinks kids night with lots and lots of prize clean and cool after a day on the green

Loved our stay, staff were very friendly and went out of their way for us.food was very nice, golf coarse was in great condition pitty the greens were cored, but have to be done met the manager very helpful and cooperative, have no complants the fee were very affordable thank you mildura golf resort eric abdilla we will be back

Good value accommodation for a quick night passing through Mildura. Motel is a bit outdated but clean, tidy and well-maintained. Hot water is a bit tricky to get the right temperature and will cut out during your shower, leaving you a bit icey! Dinner at the bistro is great - big portions, great prices and fast service!
