Super friendly crew at this salon. I had an a lovely warm greeting and my hairdresser Dejan totally nailed the brief. Best cut / salon experience I have had in a while.

Wonderful experience! Rhiannon did an amazing job getting the colour perfect, natural but brighter and blending so well with the greys. Having my hair washed was more like having a massage, so relaxing, and Danny is a cutting and styling genius. He knew exactly how to frame and flatter my face. What an artist! Between them they took ten years off and made me feel incredible. My daughter said it's the best cut and colour I've ever had and I think that is probably right. Thank you so much everyone at Mien and especially Danny and Rhiannon.

What a treat to finally come back to Mien. I’m indebted to Danny for giving me a complete transformation (yet again) after months of isolation. The salon has rigorous covid safety protocols and i was impressed by the cleanliness. As for the new hairstyle. I feel like I went from drab to fab just like that! I especially appreciate the exceptional attention to detail. Danny is a masterclass in hair styling and gives honest guidance that is helpful. I must mention that the new decor in Mien has taken this salon to next level. I highly recommend making a booking to have the most comprehensive salon experience. I’m ready to strut the pavement!

I've just had my hair Terre a Mer Keratin-treated by Danny. What a magician! My frizzy, unruly, curly and hard-to-manage hair -caused by years of counter-productively washing it everyday- is transformed (if only for the next few months!) and now is relaxed, well-behaved and shiny. It is week 3 after my treatment and I have survived hot, humid weather, gardening sessions, numerous cycle and gym classes with only 3 hair washes - and my hair looks more or less the same (to me anyway)! Danny and the Mien team were attentive, meticulous and professional during what was a fairly intensive procedure. Danny also provided excellent post-treatment hair care advice (thanks for the silk pillowcase tip) and even warned that it could become addictive! It's back to work for me after the holidays but at least now I don't have to worry about my hair! Very happy with the result - thanks Danny!

This is my third keratin treatment with Danny (yes, I am officially an addict) and my hair seems to be getting even better. Danny was again a detailed perfectionist and the 4 hours that this treatment entails is 100% worth it.

My IPL consultation with Elspeth was calm and relaxed. Elspeth is so knowledgable and provided excellent advice - you couldn't be in better hands.

I've been really impressed wth Mien, particularly Dejan. My hair has never looked so good and its a relaxed place to visit.

Always fantastic experience at Mien - Cheyser is terrific always with her friendly and professional approach - and does a great job - I am a rusted on client at Mien because of staff like her.

Liza is excellent. Very confident with curly hair - which is almost impossible to find in melbourne. First time I’ve left mien with my natural very curly hair and felt really happy with it, usually just ask for it to be blown out as it’s often easier for both of us. Wani did a fantastic job with my colour - really took the time to listen and matched to my natural hair colour. Really great revisit.

Have been seeing Danny for many many years. He is passionate and driven to be successful and this in evident in the care and attention he takes with all of his clients. I left the salon last week feeling like he had taken full interest in my needs and as always, delivered. He's also a lovely guy!

Situated in a beautiful historical building, the decor and ambiance are next level, and then there are the staff. The team are very friendly and my master stylist Danny always know what I want and takes meticulous care of my needs. I've been here many times and it NEVER disappoints! 5 Star all the way.

I've never met anyone who cuts hair like Danny. He's a superb hairdresser, and a really great person who listens and genuinely cares about his clients. Mien is a beautiful salon too.

Danny is very skilled and friendly. He really pays attention to the natural tendencies of my particular hair to give a great cut. He did an especially good job after I hadn't had a cut for 10 months over lockdown!
