I don’t even know why I went elsewhere before! Don’t know what kind of life decision I was making back in the days! BUT am I glad I found Mien!

Everyone is an ALL STAR! Talented people and have the best sense of humour!

Danny is amazing! He’s a life changer! I used to look like a hot mess and he transformed me into this person that I’m not embarrassed to go out.

Don’t go anywhere to get your hair done, just go to Mien!

PS, I wish they served food/snack, not just coffee and alcohol. This girl gotta eat too!

I had my first Appointment at Mien Salon & Spa 1 1/2 weeks ago as I was searching for a place that could take care of my curls. Everyone was really welcoming and made me feel comfortable in the space. Danny, my Hair stylist was doing excellent work and made me really embrace my curls. My curls were thriving after the super needed hair cut! He listened well to my needs and wishes and surpassed my expectations. The service was amazing and I left the Hair Salon super satisfied!

Absolutely love getting my hair done at Mien. Claire really listens to what I want done with my colour and has nailed it each time. I got a blow wave done by Liza today which was one of the best I’ve had, and she made me feel really special!

This place is bright, spacious and friendly. Danny cuts like a wizard and has a beautiful soul. Also, your hair is washed in this special separate area with nice music, very relaxing:)

Danny is always a delight, I leave each appointment with my curls looking the cutest and they just keep getting better. My hair appointments always give me a boost to my self confidence and a renewed love of my hair!

Another delicious afternoon at Mien. Welcomed with a glass of bubbles. Prompt and attentive service (very welcoming form all staff). Rhiannon worked magic with my colour, Sarah was a goddess at the basin (hair mask an extra bonus because I had some points up my sleeve), Liza finishing off with a fab blow dry. I was walking on clouds when I left.

I got to know about MienSalon from a colleague, she had mentioned that Danny is her stylist. So I booked an appointment and unlike the other hair salons I've been to, Danny started by asking a few questions about my likes/dislikes, and if I could something about my hairstyle, what would that be. He's very detailed, and took his time to cut my hair. I couldn't be any happier with the outcome, as it was something quite different from all the other hair stylists and extremely easy to manage. I've received compliments from family and friends on my new hairstyle. Overall, the time and money spent is definitely worth it. I highly recommend Danny if you're after something different.

Absolutely 100% - It was so great to have Déjàn attend to every aspect of my appointment a fabulous, relaxing wash and a perfect cut and styling all by him.
Déjàn is always so lovely and I always feel confident to let him make decisions about my hair cut and style.

Emilie and Claire were brilliant. I walked out feeling like a million dollars. Outstanding as always Mien.and I appreciated the Friday night glass of bubbles!

After getting my hair coloured Liza took great care in styling and curling my hair optimising my curls. Can highly recommend Mien Salon to anyone, the whole team takes great care and attention to detail.

Came in for a massage, everything from check in, to customer service and Yumi’s massage was great. The massage room was lovely, pristine and the ambience was perfect. The treatment was thorough, professional and so relaxing.

After seven shaggy weeks, I finally saw Danny and the team at mien.
It was Bliss!
The hot oil treatment was so soothing and had the additional benefit of really making my hair shine.
Then to the masterful Danny for yet another great cut. I left the salon extremely happy and a lot more stylish!

I had the best experience at Mien. I was recommended to this salon via the Clifton Hill Good Karma Network and as a local thought I'd try it out. I arrived to many friendly and welcoming faces (plus a cute little gift bag with a $30 dollar spa voucher). Emily cut my hair and she did such a good job, very precise and her technique is just great. I felt really cared for at Mien and after hopping around for many years in pursuit of the 'perfect' hairdresser/salon - I think I've found it. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending Mien to everyone. Thank you.

Emilie is an amazing hairdresser - both colour & cut. I always feel really well looked after and listened to when I have an appointment, and she really considers what's best for my hair and maintenance too. My hair has never looked or felt better - thanks Emilie!

Danny is an exceptional stylist who has been cutting my hair for over a decade. This man is a genius with the scissors and my cut always looks on trend. I’m constantly being asked where I get my hair cut. I highly recommend Danny!

Danny has been my stylist for the past ten years. I have followed him from another salon to Mien because he is simply the best in the business! An expert cutter he manages to transform ordinary into extraordinary with his deft use of scissors and creativity. Danny is the most talented and professional hairstylist that I know I will come away feeling and looking amazing every single time. I receive hair compliments from strangers and I happily recommend Danny to family and friends, although I should keep him to myself as he is very popular at the salon and I make sure I prebook my next appointment so I don’t miss out! Danny has been my hairdresser for a very long time but he never takes for granted that I will want the same style. He listens attentively and always comes up with something that enhances my short hair that makes it look and feel different! Actually I’d like to give Danny 10 stars! Once again, I can’t recommend Danny and the salon highly enough. I just went in to have my very short style freshened up and with a whirl of the clippers and texturising the top of my hair I have walked out with an even more fabulous version of the original cut. Danny is so creative and expert in cutting short hair and really listens to what it is you are trying to achieve. Danny will make suggestions as to what is possible.and makes it happen!
All staff at the salon are super friendly and most professional in every aspect of their work. During this CoVid period I feel extremely safe with the precautions being taken by staff to ensure the safety of clients and staff. Thank you again Danny and Mien. 10/10. Barb

Danny has cut my hair for over a decade and I have NEVER been disappointed! He is the ultimate cutter and stylist and is absolutely fantastic at cutting short hair. I highly recommend Danny for his talent, expertise.not to mention his personal style! Danny is simply the best!
