Mexican Taco

Ordered meals on their website to pick up to pick up from their shop. We got there 45 minutes later only to find out that they don't use their website for orders (even though the website allowed us to pay). WORST, the items we ordered were not available because they had a different menu.
Now, we're probably having dinner two hours later.

Amazing food, service was a little bit slow due to a lack of staff, but the staff that were working were doing an amazing job to try and keep up with the large amount of tables and takeaway orders. Food was a 10/10 and definitely worth waiting for.

Two stars is for the food which is really good and thats where it stops.completely! If you're thinking of eating in.dont. We gave this restaurant a second go after coming once before and being extremely unhappy with the service and wait time of the food but thought we would give it another go. Again, tonight was exactly the same. I feel really sorry for the two staff that were working when we arrived as they were alone and one was on their second shift. We ordered our drinks, which arrived 25 minutes later and then in the interim had ordered our mains. Over an hour later the two tables who had arrived well after us had received their meals and eaten. One of the young staff members (who took our order) came up to us and asked if we were ready to order which I told her we had already ordered over an hour ago. She came back to the table and said our meals order had been lost and it was being done now. We received our entree 10 minutes later. 20 minutes after that our mains arrived. Its really really annoying that the service and wait time is so bad because the food is great. There were only 2 staff on until a third arrived at 7pm. I'm not sure who the manager is in this restaurant but they need to take a look and help out. They are so under the pump with uber orders it was out of this world. All the uber drivers stand around at the front inside the restaurant waiting for the food. I had a clear view of the kitchen from my seat and during the 2 hours we were there (with two young children) I easily watched 30+ uber orders go out. I think they need to put some more focus and engery into helping their young staff and remembering that they have a full restaurant full of patrons. Really disappointing because we love the food but we definitely won't be visiting again. And to top it off the toilets are disgusting and don't look like they've ever been clean and there is zero ambience in the restaurant with not even any music on.which we noticed last time too.

Very poor service. Ambience is awful. The owners need to decide whether to be a dine in restaurant or a kitchen that services Uber orders only. Not enough staff to service both.

The food was average if not bland. An expensive and unpleasant experience.

Waste of money
Tacos - all the meat was very dry and the tortillas were super oily and falling apart.
Nachos - blandest nachos we have ever had, no salsa just corn chips and cheese if it weren’t for buying guacamole and sour cream as an extra they would have had zero taste.
Don’t waste your money

Brought both my adult sons for dinner. No. 1 son ordered nachos, which came out nearly blackened from the oven, and he said there was not enough cheese. The serving was quite small. No. 2 son didn't like their corn chips or salsas. I had an enchilada which was small, bland and soggy. This is a very disappointing version of Mexican food. The only good thing was their pork bellies - they should do more food like that and leave Mexican food to those who know how to do it properly.

I’ve walked past this place so many times and never stopped, but I finally did and it’s really delicious! I so recommend the vege tacos and chilaquiles are great. Proud that Rosanna has such high quality Mexican!

We ordered from uber eats and we were quite disappointed. The chicken burrito badly lacked flavour and the rice was all mushy which made the burrito soggy. Unlikely to order from here again.

Bravo to the chef, I just had a wonderful dinner. I highly recommend Chicken Burritos and fried chicken which has lure my taste buds. I will see you soon guys.

Great vibes, great food as well as great customer service - Mexican Taco is one of the first Mexican restaurants that have convinced me that Mexican cuisine should be regarded as one of the higher tier cuisines.
Their chicken burrito, Lamb and Nachos were great - fresh and full of flavour.
I Would definitely love to explore more of the menu. A return is definitely on the cards! Everything was delicious and fresh.

Highly recommended for the fried chicken and jalapeños poppers.
