Mexican Taco reviews
32Good and attentive service. We had take away tacos and nachos. Everything was soggy, messy and a bit of home made put together cook. I want to give it another go because if some of the reviews
I was at Mexican Taco today with my friends. We loved the fried chicken and the chicken burrito is my best and the service was quick and friendly. Definitely will be back again soon.
Amazing food the Prawn burrito was presented really well and tasted amazing, Very friendly service
CHICKEN CHILAQUILES (GF) - 80% soggy corn chips, 15% weird tasting avocado + jalapeños and 5% chicken that actually wasn't all that bad. Could have saved the dish if there was more protein, paid nearly $50 for a tiny bit of chicken. Churros came in clutch but how can you fk churros: P
This place is actually great, i hit the nachos with fried chicken and it was incredible.the drinks are cheap and the waiters were pros.
I have been ordering from Mexican Taco since it’s been open, sometimes as often as once a week. It’s my go-to takeout for the week. My faves are the spicy chillaquiles and Pumpkin Burrito bowl. The owner is also very lovely and generous.
Tasty food for a fair price with good service. I ordered take away, and they neatly packaged all the items for transport. The burritos were generously portioned, tasty and the salsa verde was the bomb. Solid option
Pleasantly surprised! Friendly and prompt service matched with delicious and well priced mexican meals.
Look forward to returning soon
Came in when only two staff were on, the guy serving was still attentive as he also tried to serve a large table. Food was ready quickly and is good, especially for the price. Have been a few times when looking for a quick feed and would come back again.
Service was very average. Drinks came after our food. Entrees and mains can put at the same time. Margaritas weren't cold.
This is my favourite restraunt. Me and my dad come her every fortnite and the food is amazing. Don't get me started on the churros. HEAVENLY. Staff are super sweet. 100 percent reccomend
Its not just the worst Mexican food but the worst food I've had. Ordered the chicken burrito. Was soggy. Side of salsa verde was some green water. The filling tasted more 'chinese' loads of cabbage and obviously frozen filling. Quesadillas, sloppy, tiny, missing cheese and any form of sauce. Disgusting food. Wouldn't feed it to my dog. Inedible.
Food incredibly bland and extremely boring.
Service was fine.
Atmosphere, well there was none.
Food was not edible and I waited a hour and half for it to come and then had too leave because they were closing. Chips were not even chips easily one of the worst experiences ever. As well I spent $400 to get treated terrible.
I'm going to be honest. The reason being, the restaurant wasn't honest with me. I arrived to pick up my takeaway order at the time they'd said (15 minutes from placing). As I asked about my order, there was a little flurry of confusion and then the young lad shows the kitchen staff a ticket and there's a sentence or two inaudible to me. A moment later, they young woman (front of house) uses her initiative to say "sorry its not ready yet, just take a seat, it'll be just a few minutes".
Pretty much, 15 minutes later, they hand me my enchiladas.
It's only a 2 or 3 minute drive home, but as I'm taking out the containers, one feels distinctly cool underneath in the centre.
All in all, a pretty disappointing experience.
We all know stuff-ups happen. The right thing to do is to own up to mistakes. Fully and openly. Don't pretend, or cover-up. And maybe offer a little something, or just pop in an unexpected surprise free of charge to make up for the error and inconvenience. That's one way to encourage a customer to come back.
And being honest about how long it will take means you won't try to rush it and fail to warm it through properly.
After having spent 46 years of my life in customer service, I hope the management can respect that my thoughts are worth considering.
Ordered Veg. Burrito and enchilada. Both of them had nothing but wrap and beans. The beans were just boiled and no taste at all.
I didn’t throw the food because I don’t like to waste food but actually the food was already wasted when it came out of their kitchen.
I can confidently say it’s the worst Mexican I’ve ever had and probably can ever have.
*****NOT RECOMMENDED*****
If you like BLAND boring overpriced food then this is the place for you.
Seriously microwave nachos from the supermarket have more flavour.
Not recommended and wont be returning.
Absolutely delicious food!
Wish my stomach was bigger after sharing the chicken, pork and beef tacos with my partner and putting away a massive pork burrito while she had a delicious halloumi burrito bowl (which was on their specials menu).
5/5 would come again.
Love the milkshake but the best one is the nuggets And nachos, chorizo quesadilla guacamole with corn chips
Dont think I ever have such simple nachos. This nachos is not worth $15 since it is just a cream, avocado and cheese topping. It should also come with tomato's coriander and corn. Burrito bowl was good though!
