Merchant & Maker reviews
70Amazing coffee, fantastic food, and friendly staff. Couldn't recommend more. The Okonomiyaki dish blew my socks off, one of the best brunches I've had, ever.
Lovely place with prompt and very friendly, and hospitable, service - delivered with a smile! Varied, and different, menu. Forvlinch, we ordered the "Ayam Goreng Benedict" and "Nasi Lemak Bowl". Both were fresh, spicy and absolutely delicious. Would definitely return next time down the Peninsula.
Underwhelming and pricey. Bacon very dry, toast unbuttered and dry and smashed avo was bland. Slow service but place was quite busy.
Overpriced. Ordered a smoothie. Didn’t arrive during the meal, offered as takeaway and on the house which I then forgot outside the restaurant while taking photos. That’s the dine in experience one looks for.
Dan Dan noodles were good, but wasn’t worth $20.
Delicious food, the Hotcakes were yummy and the coffee was pretty good too.
The service was friendly and helpful.
We were with a toddler for whom we ordered a Fluffy and a cheese toasty The only recommendation is to try and serve the toddler first as they get really hungry!
Amazing waitress serving us today. Group of 15 and she was so friendlyand attentive. Food and coffee was fantastic.
Unbelievable coffee. So much so that I walked out with a bag of their beans (and with advise on how best to use them). Great food as well
I had the chilli scrambled eggs (added a hash brown too) & hubby had the okonomiyaki. Both were delicious & polished off with ease between the two of us. Will definitely be back to try more.
Delicious food and coffee. Great gem to stop in after a walk or swim. The menu is pretty good too, lots of options from all of Asia with a great twist. The chef must be amazingly good to come up with all of the menu
I expected more from this cafe after reading the reviews. The person who served my group wasnt overly friendly and we found the menu didnt have much to offer. The coffee and smoothies were good, but the food was very average. We would not go back.
Good food, good coffee and good vibes. Staff very friendly and helpful. Managed to get a table on a public holiday in the last minute as most places were closed. But 15% surcharge applies on public holidays.
Interesting choices for brunch other than the standard smashed avo etc (which they do as well). Warning, servings are very generous.
Nice strong coffee and good chicken burger! A little slow on the service but the staff were friendly
A bit disappointed with the meal we order, over priced! Korean fired chicken@23 is basically a cooked aged roasted chicken, super big piece with battered deep fried. Calamari noodle salad only have three calamari rings.
We ordered the milk shake which supposed to have gelato on top, did not see it at all. The smoothie costs $13, does not taste pineapple, fresh fruit. Do not recommended.
Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Friendly, accommodating staff combined with tasty food and what could be the Mornington peninsula's best coffee led to a very enjoyable daily experience
Excellent coffee! They try a bit hard with the food for my tastes, but it is always very good. Much better than a few doors down.
Awesome team. Really great sound system.
Great location. All the food is made fresh by a great team of chefs.
Good coffee, good food & good vibes.
Overpriced for what you get. French toast is $18 and for that you get one slice of stale brioche bread and a little maple syrup, tiny scoop of ice cream and some small pieces of fruit. The scrambled eggs were just ok but the sourdough bread it came with was coles equivalent and plain with no butter. The coffee was also just too small for a large. Will not be going back.
Would not recommend. Called in for lunch with a group of friends; service from the beginning was poor but eventually someone appeared to give us water. Unfortunately they didn't bring enough glasses and we had to request another one. Not much variety on the menu and not a lot of value for money. Will not be returning here - but there are lots of other options nearby.
