Was a busy Saturday, had a confusion or two with coffee orders but sorted quickly. 6 of us had an enjoyable breakfast. Will be back

Came here for brunch over the weekend. Great spot on the Nepean right near where we were staying. Quite a diverse menu for whatever youre feeling like. I got the baked eggs which unfortunately was a bit dry, however all other dishes friends had were good. Overall service and food was good and reasonably priced

Coffee and chai were as good as they come. Food was excellent too, I had the baked eggs and it was the perfect dish for a winters day.

Also, very friendly service and brilliant location. Can’t go wrong

The best experience we had on the long weekend. They were so accomadating to our large group & we all loved our meals.

After an entertaining story? Love screening local cafes nearby but feeling unloved after experience didn’t match past reviews today, even if it was a busy Saturday. Waited in vain to be seated by inattentive waitresses both inside and out. One told me she wouldn’t be long then went over to take an order. Finally owner looking guy asked if he could help but didn’t explain I had to order at till. It took another wait outside at a table for explanation by waitress. Served with the weakest coffee I’ve had in decades, then poached eggs on thin over toasted white sourdough… but could I get something to eat with? And salt and pepper please? Waitress agreed to get S& P while I fetched my own (blunt) cutlery and water.
Wow! DIY for $17.30? ! Save your time and hunt down better service & food. Plenty that will please.

Lives up to its reviews. Good coffee and decent service, plus a nice selection of core breakfast meals.

Coffee is good. However, service could be better as no one was attentive. The food was also underwhelming. I ordered the ramen but they got my order wrong twice and I had to get them to fix it. Also, although specified as ramen on the menu, the noodles were actually spaghetti (pasta). Won’t be back.

Coffee was really good, service was good, but the food was not great. Way too many elements in each dish which took away from what could have been a nice meal. Wouldn't go back again.

Our expectations were pretty high, given the popularity and reviews. We weren't disappointed. Great to see a Cafe that simply focuses on good food and coffee.

Love the coffee. Corn fritters were delicious, goes well with a sea of various accompaniments. Sweet, savoury, creamy. Will visit again when in Rosebud.

Great Japanese influenced menu. Quality food, decent sized serves and lots of tasty things on the menu. Good coffee too.

Food was incredible, lots of options, every meal we had (ordered four different ones) were incredible. Staff were lovely. Definitely recommend.

If you're wanting a good coffee, you're not gonna go wrong coming to merchant & maker. Coffee here is done with commonfolk beans. It'll be good.

Have been here the last two times I've visited the peninsula and they have delicious, umami south East Asian flavors in the dishes I end up choosing. This time got the green tea soba noodles and added soy braised beef - actually sent me somewhere else (while we're all dreaming of being able to travel again). My friend got scrambled eggs, which were a little overdone (hence the 4 stars), but I absolutely loved my meal!

Didn't enjoy this place at all. Supposed to be the best cafe on the peninsula stale Donuts and muffins.won't be back

This Cafe offers an amazing selection of breakfast choices, so it may take some time to choose, but I doubt you could go wrong.the service was friendly and efficient. I prefer my coffee hotter, but that's my fault for not stipulating. It's conveniently located on the Napean Highway, but back on a service road with no traffic noise once you're inside.

As very picky people with food, every Asian/fusion item we ordered not only tasted authentic but was very filling for the price paid. Hands down the best brunch place we’ve had in a while. Was also willing to allow us to split the bill so that’s a +1 from all 13 of us:) we mainly recommend the ayam goreng Benedict, nasi lemak bowl and pecking duck bao buns
