I wish I knew the woman’s name who served me one afternoon but she was so friendly and knowledgeable I left with the perfect shoes and a huge smile.

I had been looking for more comfortable work shoes and had looked around Chadstone for hours, slowly running out of hope.

Not only did this woman find me shoes to perfectly fit my budget, she showed me insoles to help extend the life of my old shoes, solving 2 problems in one go.

She wasn’t ‘fake retail friendly either’, she just seemed authentically happy to help and genuinely friendly.

I’d never shopped at Merchant but this experience alone will make me stop here first before anywhere else in the future.

Had the best service at merchant chadstone. The staff (Simon) were so patient while I was trying to decide on what sandal to buy, eventually went with Simon’s recommendation. So happy with my purchase, never worn a chunky sandal as having little feet, so so comfy sandal. Have been a long time purchaser of merchant shoes, can’t beat their quality and shoes last for years, so well worth the price. When you have great staff helping you in store it’s a win win.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 star but had to put it.
Bought a shoe on Sunday 01/10/2023 and it was faulty. Went to the store and asked for a exchange but they refused and asked me to fix the shoe my self because i only got the transaction receipt not the full receipt.
Dealt with Daniel who refused to call his manager or give me his contact details so i can sort it out.
Complaint to consumer affairs and they will fix the issue.

Bought recently, 5-6 wears (most of the time car and office), noticed that sole started peeling off. 250 dollars shoes has quality lower that 10 dollars shoes from Kmart. What’s going on with this world?

Appalling customer service. Really rude and abrupt staff member was no help.when delivery didn't arrive and head office support is almost impossible to get, let alone trying to find a working head office phone number. Be prepared to spend hours of your life trying to get information on your missing purchase.

Orederd online sent to wrong address, no care or help offerd, now have to wait for a refund as they cant guarantee this wouldnt happen again if they resent shoes which would take longer as they would have to now source them from nz. No real apology given, busy cos of xmas and have casuals working was reason given for not checking address before posting. Very disappointing as i did live this brand

I purchased a pair of shoes from their store three weeks ago but they didn't have the colour I wanted, so I was told that they would order from a different store and ship them to me. Three weeks later and I didn't receive anything, not even a confirmation email. I had to call both this store and the other store several times, only to find out they didn't actually put the order through. And now the colour and size I ordered was completely out of stock so I had to go ahead with a different colour. I went through so much trouble trying to sort this out and waited for so long and didn't even get the thing I wanted, but they refused to provide anything, such as a further discount, to apologise, because they said when I purchased the shoes, they were already on sale. But I didn't do anything wrong. The only thing I know is I spent extra time and effort on the things that I have purchased. I don't care whether they were already on sale or not. I don't think this is fair to me. I understand it's only a human mistake, and it was the second day after the Boxing Day and they were busy. But when mistakes are already made, don't you think you should do something to make up for the loss and inconvenience caused to the customer? I myself will never go back to this store, or any other store of this brand, but as a customer, I do hope they can improve their service and make sure this kind of things never happen to anyone else.

I was wedding shoe shopping today, solo with two energetic toddler boys. Emily was an absolute gem helping me find my size in a few heels, and Simon was a total legend and distracted my boys with coin ‘magic’ tricks, chatting and even showed them the shoe making tools. It was SUCH a big help, and I found the perfect heels for my wedding!

Im very picky and I was looked after so well by Simon who knows his stuff. This gentlman was exceptional. Dont waste your time just ask for his advice and sit back.

Wonderful experience at the Chadstone store today. The girls were attentive and very knowledgeable. I walked away with 2 pairs of black boots and a pair of shoes. Highly recommend this store!
