I recently consulted Dr Simon Sostaric for some testing in relation to my running performance. Simon tested my VO2 max plus a range of related tests. I was very pleased with the whole process - Simon gave me a comprehensive report summarising my results and opportunities for improvement. More importantly for me, Simon was able to focus in on areas of weakness and gave me some insightful, practical tips about my training and my diet which I have been able to put into practice straightaway. I'm thoroughly happy with my experience with Simon and will definitely be keeping in touch with him to monitor my progress.

The team were extremely helpful and friendly. Their expertise regarding my VO2 max test has allowed me to train far more accurately and efficiently than previously. Definitley worth a visit to cover all your sports science needs.

Excellent, Dr Simon Sostaric was able to use his experience with world class athletes and his science based approach to produce a program for me that produced measurable performance improvements that exceeded my expectations.

Simon has an incredible amount of experience working with elite level athletes here in Australia and around the world. He was able to use this experience to help tailor a training program for me to conquer the Melbourne Marathon. Simon and his team introduced core strengthening work into my program, which dramatically improved my technique and ability to run long distances. After running the marathon, I have since transitioned into triathlons and have a goal of doing the Cairns half ironman in 2018. Simon will be the key driving force behind helping me prepare for this event and achieving this goal. I wouldn't work with anyone else and can highly recommend Simon and his evidence based techniques.

I have seen Dr Simon at MSAHC over the past two and a half years for advice and guidance on racing Ironman triathlons. In 2015 we conducted some fitness testing and Simon developed my heat training program for racing at the Ironman World Championships in Kona. My fitness definitely benefited from the heat training and I went into the race not being concerned the heat would jeopardise my performance.

Since then I have started racing professionally and consult Simon from time to time to discuss my training program, body composition, testing etc. I really value his insights based on the latest research. Earlier this year he strongly encouraged me to introduce heavy weight training into my training regime - which I have done and am already seeing the benefits. I ran a half marathon PB in August (1.28.31) and my long run average pace has dropped 15 second per km since introducing the weight training.

I appreciate Simon's expertise and careful and VERY detailed analysis of where I am at with training and my sport. Another aspect I enjoy with Simon is his ability to look beyond the numbers and ask me simply 'how I felt? ' - this is so important as often the problem/blockage to enhanced performance is not due to the physiology!

Simon has also referred me to a GP who was able to assist me with regulating hormones for maximising performance.

I encourage athletes who are looking to enhance their performance through structured and reliable strategies visit Simon to draw on his expertise.

Thanks for your help Dr SS.
