25Simon was very knowledgeable and made the VO2max test very easy to understand, as well as providing important feedback from my DEXA scan. I’d recommend Simon (and Tony at BodyDEXA Fit) to anyone interested in proactively analysing their current health and fitness levels, as well as getting clear training protocols for continued improvement.
Fantastic experience. Initial consultation was very informative and helpful. Following the consultation I booked in to conduct a VO2 Max and Lactate Threshold test and when I arrived on the incorrect day Simon was luckily able to accomodate and despite a busy schedule quickly conduct the testing and send the results within days. 10/10.
If you’re serious about living the best and longest life you can, Simon Sostaric is one of the best professionals to help you reach that goal. Years of top level training have equipped him with the knowledge and skills to guide you to your goals, no matter where you currently sit on the health scale. Dr Simon Sostaric has been a fantastic trainer and physiologist for myself since 2016 when I moved into single seater racing. He has helped my physical progression tremendously in terms of very thorough and precise training programs tailored to my needs. He has also provided muscle activation warm up exercises, scientifically proven heat-combative techniques during race weekends, and a range of tests at the race track to monitor my physical state, in order to allow me to perform at my best. He has been a massive help in my career, and i wouldn’t be where I am today without his help. It is about the 1 percenters, as Simon always says. “

From the first consultation, Simon knew exactly what my problems were. After just over 12 months of constant rehab and strengthening my glutes, hamstrings and calves, I am walking better than I have in a long time. I have no hesitation in recommending Simon to anyone who needs expert help.

Simon from Melbourne Sports and Allied Health Clinic was really helpful with my VO2 max test on the treadmill. He not only explained everything, he answered each and every one of the questions I had along the way and about my results, the equipment, training zones, my goals and what my body was capable of.
Simon explained to me that VO2max is not only an important contributor to fitness, but also a very strong predictor of health risk and longevity.
An increase in VO2max is key to reducing risk of developing metabolic and cardiovascular disease.
His scientific and analytic approach works for me and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to improve their performance or simply need a booster to their confidence to keep improving their fitness.
