Love this place for Friday after work relax session with $1 oysters from 4pm-7pm. The lace has a very open vibe with both inside and outside seating. Great location with plenty of other options around it and not too far from public transport. Their happy hour espresso martinis don't hurt either.

Always a great atmosphere. A little hidden away but well worth it! Food is lovely though a little small for what you pay for and plenty of drinks to choose from. A little pricey but well worth the quality. The photos attached are the Porterhouse and Scotch Fillet steaks.

Would have given it a five star rating as the food and the cocktails were brilliant as were the staff. The only thing was they took their sweet time cooking our lunch and brought entrees out with mains. A hour wait was a little much. Will be back through we loved the food and the menu is great.oh and they have

The atmosphere is good, workers are friendly and fast, but there needs to be more organisation when it comes to events such as the Jon Stevens concert the other night. We paid good money, arrived early to get up to the front, and the result was self entitled young drunk women pushing their way in, causing injuries and problems, with security doing nothing about it. There needs to be some sort of control.

I had the absolute displeasure of meeting the owner who I saw be extremely rude to one of his staff. Never going to be spending my money at a place like this thanks

I really loved this place. The staff were great, very friendly and had our drinks out in no time. The food was very tasty! And priced well with a good selection. The atmosphere was great and loved the music, I think we went on 90s night so it was a lot of fun! Highly recommend.

Visited on the 9th of feb 2018 and the live "music" was torture. My ears are still bleeding one week later. Would rather have a spoon shoved into my ear than have to listen to their provided "entertainment"

Went for an early Sunday evening family dinner. I've lived very near Melbourne Public for over a year and have never chosen to go in mainly because whenever I've passed it the front section is packed with loud men in huge clouds of cigarette smoke. But on Sunday evening there is none of that and the inside is actually really pleasant. We sat in the very comfortable dining area at the back - plenty of space, comfy chairs, nicely set tables. We were warmly welcomed by staff. We had steaks and a Parma - all absolutely delicious. Found my new favourite beer, the Estella Damm, they have it on tap. Staff attention was just right. Toilets were clean and functional. The only thing that concerned us was when someone was smoking out front, in the smoking section, the smoke was blown into the restaurant. So we would definitely go back but will try to avoid busy times when there might be more smokers.

I had an exceptional experience and I found the staff and management providing superior service. They deserve 7 stars!

I had a private function here a few months ago and it was perfect. Amanda and her team were amazing and very accomodating with all of our special requests. Everyone had a ball and there was plenty of delicious food and drinks. I would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate having another function here.i just need to find another reason for a party:) thank you Amanda
